Summary

Khalid Nassour is the Egyptian-American, medical student, and great nephew of Kent Nelson who was selected by the Egyptian gods to become the legendary Doctor Fate, agent for the Lords of Order and champion of good. Trained by Kent Nelson and Nabu, he eventually succeeded the former in the role. Later after Kent's demise and Nabu's disappearance, he is assisted by the Egyptian goddess Hauhet.

Weaknesses: If the helmet is removed, Khalid loses the majority of his magical powers although Hauhet can will the vestments to himself. Khalid is also generally an inexperienced incarnation of Doctor Fate although he has had formal training with Kent Nelson.
