Summary
Victor von Doom AKA Doctor Doom, is a primary antagonist from the Marvel vs. Capcom series. Ruling the Eastern European country known as Latveria under a dictatorship, Doom stands as one of the most fearsome super-villains in Marvel's Universe. He stands as a long time enemy of the superhero group, the Fantastic Four, holding a grudge against its leader, Reed Richards. Doom possesses a genius intellect, having mastered technology as well as magic, both of which he uses to make himself an incredibly unpredictable opponent. His final goal is to achieve world domination.
When Thanos had wiped out half of the population with the Infinity Gems, Captain America led the Avengers, any remaining X-Men and villains of Earth as a strike force against the Mad Titan himself. Richards reached out to Victor to ask for his help, to which the dictator did not respond, and instead attempted to attain the Infinity Gems for himself. Ultimately, Earth's heroes would defeat Thanos, while Doom was left without the immense power of the Gems. Later, he would go on to be recruited by Ruby Heart and fight alongside heroes from the Capcom Universe in the battle against Abyss.
At some point, the Capcom Universe's Albert Wesker made contact with Victor, proposing an alliance in order to take over both of their worlds. In order to sustain a reliable connection between their worlds, Galactus would be called upon, planning to siphon the energy from his Worldship. The results of this plan caused would come to threaten the homes of both Marvel and Capcom Universe's residents, leading to Doom's aid in defeating the World Eater.

Stamina: Superhuman
Range: Standard Melee Range; Several Meters with Plasma and Photon Attacks; Hundreds of Meters with High-Powered Blaster and Hidden Missiles
- Armor: A personal armour created by Doom himself, which he wears at all time. Due to Victor's own physical strength being average at best, his armor remedies this allowing him to engage in direct combat, making him a force to be reckoned with. As expected of the dictator's trickery, it comes loaded with gimmicks.
- Photon Blasters: Installed into his fingers, Doom can unleash photon-based blasts.
- High-Powered Blaster: A ranged weapon Doom keeps holstered at his side, which fires lasers.
- Built-in Jetpack: Located in his back armoring and hidden by his cape, Doom can enable himself to fly upon activating this piece of technology. He can also use it in short bursts to thrust himself forwards and backwards. If Doom has fallen to the ground, he can opt to use a short burst to lift himself back on his feet.
- Power-Siphoner: Hidden within his chestplate, Doom can steal a portion of others' power.
- Missile Turrets: Turrets Doom can spawn from the ground, which launch several missiles in the air and come down on his target if they do not hit them initially.
- Thrones: Two different chairs Doom will be seen sitting on before and after his battles as a means to boast of his sovereignty. The first is a larger throne with no remarkable traits while the second has the ability to hover.
- Doombots: Robot duplicates of Doctor Doom that possess similar abilities to himself. Victor can call upon them at any time. Arguably, it appears as though Doombots may take his place in battle, adding a level of deception to foes in regards to whether they are fighting the real Doom or not.
- Optional Equipment:
- Latverian Submarine: A submarine created by Doctor Doom, capable of venturing deep underwater at efficient speeds with no trouble. It's size provides ample, making it excellent for its implied purpose of researching.
- The Heroes & Heralds Cards
Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Victor Von Doom is a genius in physics, robotics, cybernetics, genetics, weapons technology, bio-chemistry, and time travel.[4][5] Stated to be possess the greatest mind on Marvel's Earth,[13] which would surpass the likes of Black Panther, Iron-Man, Spider-Man, Bruce Banner, and Reed Richards, the latter of which is a genius who can create dimension crossing machines[4] and is stated to be the leading scientific mind in the United States.[12] By siphoning energy from Galactus' Worldship,[6] Doom was capable of fusing Marvel and Capcom's Earths together,[3][4] an act even Albert Wesker had to ask the dictator about to ensure it was possible.[6] Victor has created a large assortment of technological wonders. This includes his own armor, all of his weaponry, and a giant submarine.[1] Claimed M.O.D.O.K. to be of far lesser intelligence.[3][4] Considers Crimson Viper's technology to be "primitive" in nature compared to his own.[3][4] Knowledge in the mystic arts due to his self-teachings in the field of magic.[4][5] In terms of combat, Doom is not lacking in skill, noted to be a brilliant strategist.[4][5] Leads the small Eastern Europe country of Latveria with an iron fist.[13] He claimed to have faced the knights of Camelot, the likes of which he believes Arthur is merely a pale imitation of. Taskmaster, a combat instructor and mercenary who can replicate the moves of others just by looking at them "no matter how complex", is seen as nothing more than a "common thug" in Victor's eyes[3][4])
Weaknesses: Incredibly narcissistic to a comical degree, so much so that he expects applause for his achievements to last for hours and will execute the first person to stop clapping.[3][4] Furthermore, he finds any praise for Reed Richards in his presence to be an attack on his pride.[4] Doctor Doom can only equip up to three card effects at a time.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:

- Hidden Missiles: Doom makes small gestures, causing missiles to be launched from the ground immediately. The missiles will fire directly upwards before coming down, tracking his opponent.

- Electric Cage: Doom fires a large sphere of electricity in front of himself at the opponent.

- Sphere Flame: Doom produces a sphere of energy in his hands, firing it upwards, in which it explodes and rains down an arc of projectiles down towards the ground. This attack provides utility at close and long ranges.
- Doom's Time: Doom makes a gesture, causing a containment cell to appear from the ground. If this makes contact with the opponent, they will be trapped within the cell and shocked with electricity multiple times. Doom will watch this play out while sitting on his throne before activating an explosive to finish them off.
