Summary
Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool is a protagonist from the Marvel vs. Capcom series. He was a man plagued with terminal lung cancer. In an attempt to be cured of it, he was granted artificially made mutant abilities. The experiment was a success, however, it also came with the side-effects of physical disfigurement and long-term psychological damage, leading him to become the off-the-wall, fourth wall-breaking, insane mercenary known as Deadpool. During the events of Galactus' attack and the merging of two worlds, Wade contributed to the fight alongside many other Marvel and Capcom characters.

In many of his victory screens, he will chastise or talk directly to the player or even Capcom themselves, interacting with the camera in the process. He also possesses knowledge of other Capcom titles including Street Fighter, Devil May Cry 4, and the X-Men Arcade game by Konami. Referenced an internet meme surrounding Marvel vs. Capcom 2's competitive scene and Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. Wade is aware of the events of previous Marvel vs. Capcom titles such as Marvel Super Heroes and recognizes Wesker "stealing" Spider-Man's move. His taunt, a comic-like speech bubble, is able to physically interact and damage opponents. His Hyper Combo, 4th Wall Crisis, involves him hanging from the health bar and using it and his own meter as a physical weapon[1]), Technique Mimicry (Copied Ryu's Shoryuken, which even he seemed surprised by), Hammerspace (Pulls out multiple weapons out of nowhere[1]), Martial Arts (Deadpool is stated to be a specialist in close-quarter combat[2]), Weapon Mastery and Marksmanship (Deadpool is a master of using firearms, grenades, swords, nunchaku, and many other weapons[2]), Acrobatics (Can perform acrobatic maneuvers like flips on the fly[1]. All Marvel vs. Capcom characters can pull off a Super Jump, which involves leaping high into the air in a single bound), Teleportation (He is in possession of a teleportation belt, however, this malfunctions after three usages[1]), Regeneration (Mid-Low; His healing factor should be comparable to Wolverine's[2]), Explosion Manipulation (With grenades. At the end of Fourth Wall Crisis, he causes an explosion[1]), Afterimage Creation (Fast enough to leave afterimages[1]), Light Manipulation and Status Effect Inducement (Deadpool uses a flashbang to temporarily blind his opponent[1]), Statistics Amplification and Healing (Activating X-Factor temporarily increases its user's strength and speed while healing them at a rapid pace[3][2]. Blocking attacks in this state also prevents chip damage[2]), Resistance to Cosmic Radiation (Capable of fighting in space unharmed[2]), Perception Manipulation (Capable of viewing Shuma-Gorath's "default" form[2], a being who takes the appearance of one's worst nightmare should they ever encounter him[4][2]), Disease Manipulation (Was cured of his lung cancer after artificially obtaining his powers, despite the side effects to his mental state)
Power Bestowal (Each card grants a certain ability or buff to whoever holds it[2]), Statistics Amplification (Certain cards have the ability increase health, power-up hypers and X-Factor time, movement speed, flight time, and defense[2]) Absorption (Certain cards have the ability to absorb an opponent's vitality or hyper meter[2]), Damage Boost (Many cards offer an attack boost[2]), Attack Reflection (The Ms. Marvel card reflects damage received from attacks[2]), Invisibility (The Demitri, Nightcrawler, and Spider-Ham cards give the user the ability to turn invisible[2]), Poison Manipulation (The Rathalos, Rathian and Red Skull cards may poison an opponent[2]), Healing (Certain cards have the ability to recover health or Hyper Meter[2]), Limited Healing Negation (Certain cards have the ability to decrease the amount of recoverable health their opponents have[2]), Limited Invulnerability (Certain cards have the ability to grant invincibility to projectile attacks[2]), Resurrection (The Astaroth card can revive the user with full health when defeated as the last member of their team[2])
Attack Potency: Brown Dwarf level (Could aid in the battle against Galactus,[1] and was even capable of defeating him), higher with X-Factor
Speed: FTL (Kept up with Galactus), higher with X-Factor
Lifting Strength: Class Y (Every character capable of beating Galactus should be able to break out of his attempt to crush them in the boss fight, with the latter being capable of holding an entire planet in his hands[5][6])
Striking Strength: Brown Dwarf level, higher with X-Factor
Durability: Brown Dwarf level (Capable of taking hits from Galactus), higher with X-Factor
Stamina: Superhuman
Range: Standard Melee Range; Extended Melee Range with melee weaponry; Tens of Meters with explosives, shurikens, bolas, and Teleportation Belt; Hundreds of Meters with firearms
Standard Equipment: Handguns, machine guns, grenades, katana and other swords, nunchaku, bolas, shurikens, teleportation belt, flashbang grenade, health bar
- Optional Equipment: The Heroes & Heralds Cards
Intelligence: Gifted (Though he is psychologically damaged, Deadpool is a rather skilled combatant. Wade is a close-quarters-combat specialist with assassination skills said to be unparalleled relative to Marvel's Earth[2]. Capable of replicating fighting techniques accurately simply be looking at them, such as how he copied Ryu's Shoryuken, a feat that the aforementioned martial artist was shocked to witness)
Weaknesses: Psychologically unstable. Doesn't seem to take fights seriously. His teleportation belt malfunctions after three usages, exploding before Wade can use it again. Deadpool can only equip up to three card effects at a time.
