Summary
DCU. Short for the Detective Comics Universe. DC is a company that publishes many of the most popular comic book characters and franchises, such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the JLA, etc.
Power of the Verse
This verse is one of the most powerful comicbook franchises. It has several universal and multiversal beings, as well as higher-dimensional entities.
Finally, the series has two tier High 1-A supreme beings, with one of them being potentially a tier 0 being.
Solar System level scaling
Many Solar System level (4-B tier) characters, such as Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Captain Marvel have a tendency to hold back immensely in combat within certain conditions, this is typically due to their policy of not-killing and in some cases, their own fear of their true power. Therefore to ensure accuracy of our statistics, a character has to qualify under these conditions:
- They are consistently able to match a bloodlusted version of a character who is known to hold back (Note: Mind-controlled versions may not be able to overcome certain mental barriers restricting powers and clones may not be able to perfectly recreate the original character's power level.)
- They can harm characters deemed fully Solar System level consistently. These are generally villains who do not care about life.
- If a character has feats only against characters known to hold back, their scaling would be judged on a case-by-case basis. For example, many Superman villains and supporting characters exclusively battle against Superman, very few of them should scale to his 4-B rating. Examples of characters who should scale include Doomsday, who is comparable if not slightly stronger then a non-holding back Superman, Solomon Grundy, who has also consistently fought villains such as Amazo, Bizarro, and pushed Alan Scott to the verge of killing, and many New Gods, as they are typically depicted as being comparable to Kryptonians. Other Kryptonians such as Zod, Faora, Supergirl, etc, should also scale.
