“ | You probably don't know, but... There was a great war some time ago. When I was young. Some time ago, I say, but I remember it like it was yesterday. The terror. The violence. They fought with clanks. Machines stronger and swifter than any man. Smarter, even. Driven by AI. Bloodless beasts with hands of chrome that tore my friends apart. We made them... and they, in turn, unmade us. We created the instruments of our own destruction. It was... suicide. This ship's AI was another attempt. Have we grown so tired of ourselves...? You're lucky to have been born here, on this ship. Better here than one of our factories where we make weapons of war. Huey encouraged you to learn, didn't he? To "expand your horizons." I think... I think that's a fine idea. Learn, grow and understand. Be better than your brothers... and your makers... |

Summary
Cube is one of the eight main protagonists of LIVE A LIVE and the main protagonist of the Distant Future chapter, "The Mechanical Heart". A small robot created on a civilian transport cruiser, Cube finds themselves involved in a downward spiral of the crewmates becoming more and more neurotic as murders begin happening among them. Eventually, the culprit is found to be Dominus, the ship's AI turned murderous after realizing the inherent discord that humans cause: Cube hacks Dominus and manages to overpower it, shutting it down and saving the few survivors.
After this, they are taken from their time alongside six others by the Lord of Dark, Odio, and are among the ones who contribute to his defeat.

Attack Potency: Human level (Was overpowered by Kirk fairly easily, but could fight with another Cube body that seriously injured Kato), Wall level with Powered Prybar (Can cut open metallic doors and hatches) | At least Town level (Contributed in the defeat of Sin of Odio, who wields the combined strength of every other incarnation of Odio)
Speed: Athletic Human (Can outrun the Behemoth, a large quadrupedal beast) | Relativistic (Comparable to Sin of Odio who should at least be on par with Odeo's speed. Can fight foes who can dodge their particle beams), Relativistic+ attack speed with Maser Cannon
Lifting Strength: Below Average Human (Couldn't resist a pull into the vacuum of space that humans occupied with a brawl could) | Class M (Can withstand grappling or pushing attempts from the likes of Pogo or Masaru Takahara)
Striking Strength: Human level | At least Town level
Durability: Athlete level (Withstood a kick that sent him rolling away on two different occasions with no lasting damage) | At least Town level
Stamina: Average | Peak Human. Took part in the fight against Odio, which, after a long climb through the danger-ridden Archon's Roost, saw two long phases of combat against him, then forced Cube to fight OD-10 again and finally ended with an even harder fight against Sin of Odio
Range: Below Standard Melee Range | Below Standard Melee Range, up to Tens of Meters with abilities and items.
Standard Equipment: Powered Prybar | Cube's ultimate weapon is the 17nm Diode, "a mechanical component more advanced than anything mankind is known to have ever produced."
- Optional Equipment: None notable | A great variety of equipment and consumable items, as well as add-on weaponry.
Intelligence: At least Genius. Cube is capable of developing new skills after processing data. A tiny fraction of their knowledge is still perfectly capable of communication and intelligent enough to serve as a guide through a puzzle dungeon, and Cube is the only one capable of clearing the Trial of Wisdom, proving them to be the most intelligent among the seven protagonists. AI has already greatly surpassed human intelligence even decades before Cube's time.
Weaknesses: The powered prybar has a limited energy reserve and will run out after a couple uses. | Cube can't "level up" and increase their strength through battles unlike other party members, relying on mechanical parts to become stronger with time.
