Summary
Creatures of Chaos; or Creatures of the Night, are the main antagonistic forces in the entire Castlevania franchise. While coming in many different shapes and forms, they all exist to answer the call for darkness in the world, whether through the hearts of humanity or from the source they all stem from. Some range from being mindless monsters hell bent on satisfying their own lust while others can utilize some form of intelligence and prey on humans as if they're mere playthings.
General Chaos Magic
Chaos/Darkness in general have many followers that partake in this path, or at least have folks that can utilize it for their own personal gain, and while they aren't full blown creatures of chaos, they can still utilize some of their powers.

- Possession (Can resist the Une's effect to possess others[73] and Dracula's magic[30] to possess others[38])
Note 1: While not every single Creature of Chaos is able to scale to all of these resistances with some of the lower tier creature's lore being them susceptible to the influence of these powers, the more powerful/noteworthy creatures of the night would fully scale to these due to them shrugging off these powers numerous times in the past.
Note 2: Despite the nature of the Vampire Killer and classic folklore of these monsters, not all creatures are susceptible to holy powers, as evidenced with numerous different creatures that not only utilize holy powers as their own for dark intentions, but can also resist their powers too,[19] meaning it would take more than just a normal holy weapon/ability to beat these creatures.Vampires

Arguably the most recognizable creature in the franchise, vampires are a force to be reckoned with. With numerous noteworthy characters being vampires themselves from Carmilla to Count Olrox, vampires are given a special blessing from the night itself far more than a typical creature of chaos, granting them immense power.
All prior abilities on a higher level, plus the following:

- Intangibility - Phasing and Soul Absorption (via Mist Form,[74] which is capable of separating the user[76] into millions of particles[20] and absorb life from those who touch it[20])
- Possession, Blood Manipulation, Deconstruction, and Biological Absorption (Vampires are capable of possessing other individuals,[77] which involve their blood entering the body[76] and breaking apart the individual from inside out,[76] and absorbing their entire being into itself[76] when finished)

- Corruption (Type 1) and Madness Manipulation (Type 1; Turning someone into a vampire can drive one insane in the process[29] and corrupt their very soul[29])
- Information Analysis (Would scale off of Glyph magic, which is stated to be that of a vampire,[82] and Glyph users can absorb and analyze the ability they take in naturally[38])
All prior resistance on a much higher level
Note: Contrary to the popular folklore, Vampires in the series are not affected by being staked in the heart. This is evident with the Bloody Nightmare novel with statements and showings[83] of someone trying to stake a newly created vampire only for said creature to shrug off its effects and attack the individual.
Dark Lord

The Dark Lords are some of the most powerful creatures of the night, mostly recognizable due to their closest ties to Chaos over all the weaker monsters, they rule over their domain with an iron fist, especially due to most of them being connected to Dracula's magic in some way shape or form, which grants them immense power and full control over the Demon Castle itself.
All prior abilities on a higher level, plus the following:
- Abstract Existence (Type 1; Gods are abstract beings with no real form or name,[84] and the dark lord's existence transcends the gods themselves[85])
- Higher-Dimensional Existence (The Dark Lord's inner soul/true state exists as one with the castle itself, which can take form of an entire plane of reality[11])
- Illusion Creation (The castle can create illusions[30])
- BFR (The castle can send one to another dimension[86] or directly into the castle itself by being near it[11])
- Perception Manipulation (The castle can warp one's senses[49])
- Morality Manipulation (the castle's influence can turn allies against each other[50])
- Void Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation (Type 1), Time Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation, Chaos Manipulation, Pain Manipulation, Dimensional Manipulation and Forced Duplication (The castle's Void and Chaos powers can forcefully duplicate one's being and conceptually removed from concepts of Pain, Time, and Existence, affect Gravity related limitations,[39] and separate them into numerous planes at once.[39] Can also warp the gravity inside the castle[49])

- Existence Erasure (Dracula's magic can erase beings from existence[38])
- Empathic Manipulation, and Memory Manipulation (Dracula's magic can devour the victim's mind,[38] and affect one's memories and emotions[38])
- Biological Absorption (Dracula's magic can absorb an entire being[38])
- Madness Manipulation (Type 3; Dracula's magic can drive one insane by its mere presence[38])
- Body Puppetry (The castle's influence can[87] control its targets like a puppet[88])
- Power Mimicry, Information Analysis and Power Absorption (Dracula's touch can[12] instantly copy[12] one's[12] abilities,[12] analyze them throughout their entire lifetime and past lives,[12] and absorb one's power[7])
- Subjective Reality (Dracula's magic can bring what's in one's mind into reality[30])
- Deconstruction (The waters of Dracula's castle can destroy its targets[8] and break down their flesh, bones and soul itself[50])
- Fear Manipulation (The Castle's power can inflict fear onto others,[31])
