Where am I? This weird dream again, déjà vu! It's true that I killed my Mentor... and yet, I am not his murderer.
~ At the beginning of the game

Summary

Are you lost? Or have you already been lost since the very beginning?
~ Commander Rimanah to the protagonist, upon completing a Cycle

The Protagonist of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy is a mystery through most of it. A member of the super-soldier warrior monk organization E.Y.E, founded by the Secreta Secretorum to fight the Metastreumonic Force, and part of the Culter Dei faction, he is stuck in a loop in which he finds the corpse of his Mentor, stating that he has killed him, yet finds him alive and well right after. Through any single cycle, he is ordered by Commander Rimanah on missions meant to secretly undermine the Jian, rival faction of the Culter Dei, and has the choice to follow either him or his Mentor, only to eventually be forced to kill both. Then, he awakens in the same dream again, and the loop begins anew.

Upon diving deep within the lore and completing all of the endings, which unlocks another, final scene, one can finally connect the pieces and realize that the player is actually Captain Rimanah himself, stuck in endless Cycles of Guilt after making contact with an Artifact tied to the Metastreumonic Force, which sent him spiraling into a dream-like state between reality and the Force where he would endlessly relive through his life thanks to his guilt regarding his wife Circe, whom he had ordered executed to prevent a heretical order that he had given her from being traced back to him. Upon finally making contact with either Circe's spirit or merely an image of her, Rimanah is given the ability to exit the Cycles of Guilt, repenting forever in a featureless Purgatory.

Powers and Stats

Tier: At least 9-A, likely higher

Name: Rimanah

Origin: E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown, likely centuries or millennia thanks to the many Cycles of Guilt he has experienced.

Classification: Culter Dei Commander of E.Y.E.

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (E.Y.E. soldiers are enhanced in body and mind through cybernetics and alien biology to be superhumanly effective in many regards), Genius Intelligence, Weapon Mastery, Marksmanship and likely Martial Arts (Rimanah is a highly trained elite member of E.Y.E,[1] itself a very elite sect of superhuman warrior monks,[2] trained in combat, assassination and infiltration. He can fight off entire platoons of foes, dual wield swords, pistols and sub-machine guns with proficiency, and greatly increase his skill through time afterwards, to the point of eventually slaughtering his way through dozens of fellow E.Y.E. soldiers in his raid of the Secreta Secretorum's Temple. His very brain is engineered for superior skill, with implants such as Cyber Weapon Interface aiding with accuracy), Immortality (Type 3, 4 and 8), Regeneration (At least Low-Mid. Through BioRegeneration, Rimanah can instantly heal from a variety of otherwise incurable injuries, including head injuries serious enough to seriously damage mental faculties, and is said to be rendered immortal by them[3]), Healing, Resurrection and Purification (By performing Maintenance, Rimanah can cure madness, halt bleeding and fix injuries.[4] Resurrectors automatically administrate in an E.Y.E. soldier's body upon detecting their clinical death, immediately bringing them back to fighting conditions), Time Travel and Dimensional Travel (Rimanah is stuck in an endless Cycle of Guilt,[5] living over and over through universes[6] that portray a corrupted version of his life, unable to escape the loop no matter what he does), Precognition and possibly Reality Warping (All deaths in E.Y.E. are explained as Rimanah simply having a prophetic dream.[7] Given his complete inability to escape the Cycles of Guilt no matter what happens to him, including death, it's likely that rather than just a simple dream, this is actually the universe being reset to undo his death), Stealth Mastery (Capable of stealth in a variety of situations, to the point of theoretically being capable of clearing much of the game without ever being spotted[2]), Cyborgization (Can install a great variety of cybernetic implants in his body for superior performance), Hacking (Capable of hacking just about any form of technology,[2] then taking control of it, sabotaging it, seeing through its cameras or just destroying it outright), minor Supernatural Luck (Rimanah's Karma, which goes up or down depending on their actions, affects their chance of suffering consequences for death, alongside a few other things such as odds of overdose from medkits), Resurrection Negation (Can permanently kill other E.Y.E. members who would have access to Resurrectors like he does), minor Instinctive Action (Optimized Movement System automatically provides perfect balance and optimizes every single body movement.[8] Cyber Brain automates certain minor cognitive functions), minor Poison Manipulation (Passively releases a chemical substance that forces certain insects to flee from him[9]), Enhanced Senses (Cyber Eyes enhance vision and project all vital data on it. Could see a being normally invisible to others[10]), Extrasensory Perception (FireWall intercepts all network flux, allowing automatic decryption of data and access to hacking, while disguising this process to prevent detection), Power Absorption (Absorbed his Mentor's power by killing him[11]), limited Teleportation Negation (Increasing PSI Force provides resistance to PSI abilities, granting odds of preventing usage of Dragon's Breath, which kills the target by teleporting the user into their body)

Resistance to Madness Manipulation (By increasing his "Mental Balance" stat, Rimanah can gain more resistance to Madness effects. Various researches also shield from Madness, and eventually provide complete immunity to it.[12] Increasing PSI Force provides resistance to PSI abilities such as Madness), Death Manipulation (Increasing PSI Force provides resistance to PSI abilities, such as Invocation, which kills a target and in their place evokes a Metastreumonic Creature), Curse Manipulation and Damage Transferal (Increasing PSI Force provides resistance to PSI abilities, such as Substitution Gate, which curses the target, healing the player and their team when the target is hurt as well as causing the target to take damage if the player does[4]), Hacking (The Hacking stat not only allows Rimanah to combat hacking attempts, but increases his resistance to them, as do various implants), Radiation Manipulation (Cyber Armored Skull modifies the thyroid gland to protect from radiations), Poison Manipulation (Cyber Armored Torso offers protection from poisons, filtering them from the air, ejecting them and enhancing the kidneys to combat them)

Invisibility Negation (Weapons used by E.Y.E. create perturbations that negate certain fields, such as ones that cause invisibility[2]), possibly Invulnerability Negation and Non-Physical Interaction (It is theorized by some that the reason only Dark Age weapons can harm Metastreumonic creatures is because of the symbolic link between the "physical" harm they inflict and the Metastreum's "spiritual" existence, though this is by no means confirmed[2]), Vibration Manipulation (The Damocles energy sword[2] surrounds its blade with a distortion field that generates vibrations through the blade as it hits a target, tearing them apart), Explosion Manipulation (The Arrancadora de Trippas warhammer unleashes a powerful explosion with every hit,[2] while Excidium and Spiculum Ovum shoot grenades, which can also be launched by hand), Radiation Manipulation (Researching the Excidium requires research in miniaturized nuclear warheads[13]), Healing and Purification (The Medkit syringe can be used to heal the mind and body alike,[14] and regenerates over time), Forcefield Creation (A certain Research grants drones forcefields[15]), Energy Projection (Research can grant drones laser weaponry[16])

Invisibility, Fragrance Manipulation and Light Manipulation (Cyber Cloak renders the user invisible and odorless by modifying light refraction, slowly draining energy. Taking damage or attacking will deactivate the cloak[4]), Statistics Amplification (Boost Jump and Sprint greatly increase jumping height and running speed respectively), Extrasensory Perception (Sensitive Wave allows the user to sense beings through walls,[17] while EYE Vision highlights entities with cybernetic enhancements, even at great distances or in the dark), Enhanced Senses (Sound Triangulator highlights the specific position of any sound, even through walls[4]), Instinctive Action (Targeting System automatically locks on to targets, greatly increasing accuracy[4]), Damage Reduction (Dermal Sheath hardens the user's skin, rendering them nearly invulnerable to harm), Energy Manipulation (By draining vitality, Power Conversion converts it into stamina[18]), Illusion Creation (Ghost creates a holographic image of the user)

Telekinesis (Can use PSI Lift to pick up and launch objects), Energy Projection (By performing PSI Blast, Rimanah can unleash a short-range wave of powerful energy that harms and pushes away foes), Duplication (Transmutation creates a powerful clone of the user, while Polycloning creates several, weaker ones), Madness Manipulation (Madness causes the target to suffer a kind of Madness between paranoia, intensive stress, paralyzing terror or visual/auditory hallucinations), Durability Negation and Teleportation (Dragon's Breath kills the target by teleporting the user into their body), Summoning and Death Manipulation (Invocation kills a target and in their place creates a Metastreumonic Creature that will attack anything, user included), Transmutation (Alchemy transforms items into health-restoring glyphs), Spatial Manipulation (Triangular Gate opens a dimensional gate between the player and their target, killing them without fail), Mind Manipulation (Hypnotic Gate puts the target in an never ending illusion, leaving them in a permanent, catatonic state), Memory Manipulation (Presumably using his Hypnotic Gate, Rimanah can alter memories[19]), Resistance Negation (Hypnotic Gate and Triangular Gate are said to ignore all resistances or defenses against them. As for other abilities, the higher Rimanah's PSI Force, the more he is capable of overcoming his target's resistance[4]), Curse Manipulation and Damage Transferal (Substitution Gate curses the target, healing the player and their team when the target is hurt as well as causing the target to take damage if the player does[4])

Attack Potency: At least Small Building level+, likely higher (Far superior to low level Manduco, who can destroy huge walls of rock, and can easily obliterate their entire bodies with various weapons, as well as destroy entire cars or disembowel an entire bear[2] with sufficiently powerful weapons. From then, Rimanah's strength improves both by improving stats and implants, and later by absorbing the three Gates' power, with a single one of them being enough to greatly increase his power[11])

Speed: At least Supersonic+ (The "forcefield" that appears when defending the swords is actually just Rimanah using them to parry bullets,[2] which includes shots from sci-fi tech, highly powerful sniper rifles, whose muzzle velocity likely matches or exceeds any current ones, which can exceed 1000 m/s. From then, Rimanah's "agility" and "superhuman reflex" stat can be greatly increased through time), higher Perception Speed (Various implants increase Rimanah's perception speed,[20] and Cyber Brain increases overall thinking and computing speed, while Wired Reflex does the same for reflexes)

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (From the beginning, Rimanah is greatly superhuman due to a body modified by both alien genetics and cybernetic implants, and he can then greatly increase his strength both via leveling and enhancing his implants. Can dash or leap several meters into the air even while wearing, carrying and wielding heavy armaments)

Striking Strength: At least Small Building level+, likely higher

Durability: At least Small Building level+, likely higher

Stamina: Superhuman. Can perform impressive feats such as running and fighting through large warzones while heavily encumbered and after suffering wounds and injuries, and from then greatly increase his Endurance statistic. E.Y.E. soldiers are superior in terms of blood circulation[21] and naturally more resistant to injury,[22] bleeding,[23] dizziness, nausea, cephalgia, stress and other thanks to a variety of implants and Nervous Control Implants.

Range: From Extended Melee Range to Kilometres with weaponry, Universal+ with Reality Warping

Standard Equipment: A Facere Mortis katana and light, medium or heavy armor, with a built in flashlight. Beyond that, he can carry several weapons and items (both shown here) at once,[2] though their size is concern and limits the maximum amount.

  • Facere Mortis: A bizarre living katana with an eye in its hilt, created in the Holy Forge. Default equipment, no matter the build. A second can be taken for dual-wielding.
  • Damocles: A powerful sword made by the Holy Forge that generates a distortion field that creates shockwaves, tearing apart anything the blade touches.
  • Arrancadora de Trippas: A massive warhammer, once again created by the Holy Forge in times so ancient that their memory is lost. It releases a distortion field explosion upon impact, pulverizing the target.

  • Black Crow: A rare pistol with impressive firepower and rate of fire.
  • BK13: An automatic pistol with low recoil and a large magazine. Can be dual wielded.
  • 444 Bear Killer: A legendary 4-round magazine pistol, created in the Dark Ages, that boasts unmatched firepower, as well as incredible accuracy.
  • GCTG 222: An attempt at replicating the Bear Killer, the 222 cannot match its power, but it has a 6-round magazine and overall very reliable properties.

  • HS 010: A sub-machine gun light enough to be dual wielded. It boasts an insane rate of fire thanks to three rotating barrels and can double it even further with its secondary mode, but while recoil is low, accuracy suffers.
  • Motra: A larger, powerful and accurate sub-machine gun.

  • Betty Boom: A legendary hunting sawed-off double-barreled shotgun.
  • Depezador: A very powerful semi-automatic shotgun with a large magazine size and decent range.
  • CAW Hammer: An automatic shotgun with great rate of fire but a small magazine.

  • B.O.S.C.O: A highly accurate silenced semi-automatic sniper rifle with great magazine size.
  • TRK A.D: An incredibly powerful, armor-piercing rifle.
  • Hunting Machine: A strange, rare weapon of unknown origins, capable of matching the 444 Bear Killer's power.

  • K.A 93: A very reliable assault rifle.
  • Rotten Mound: A semi-automatic assault rifle that boasts good accuracy and low recoil, and is generally considered to be extremely reliable.
  • S6000: This rifle fires very small rounds, relying more on their speed than size. It boasts extreme rate of fire and accuracy.

  • Excidium: A powerful, armor-piercing explosive launching weapon.
  • Sulfatum: A massive minigun with incredible rate of fire thanks to its three rotating barrels.
  • Spiculum Ovum: A large grenade launcher that shoots proximity-activated sticky bombs, and boasts impressive rate of fire. Its origin is unknown.

  • Sentry: An autonomous, armored defense mechanism installed on a tripod. Automatically shoots hostiles with an automatic gun.
  • Kinder Grenade: A grenade that explodes on contact with hostiles, and can be remotely detonated.
  • Scrabouillor: A flying drone that shoots at foes with an automatic gun. Capable of recording and playing messages, or stealthily flanking foes.
  • Medkit: A syringe that injects healing medication. It "recharges" its healing ability through time, but if used too often can lead to a lethal overdose.
  • Resurrector: A highly advanced medical cocktail that automatically administrates itself upon detecting clinical death, immediately bringing one back to fighting conditions

Intelligence: Average, Genius combat intelligence. Rimanah is a highly trained elite member of E.Y.E,[24] itself a very elite sect of superhuman warrior monks,[2] trained in combat, assassination and infiltration. His very brain is engineered for superior skill, with implants such as Cyber Weapon Interface aiding with accuracy.

Weaknesses: Rimanah can be subject to various mental and physical traumas every time a Resurrector is used. Usage of weaponry negates Invisibility.[2] As a member of a highly violent and corrupted force, Rimanah has no qualms regarding "dirty fighting" or killing, but this also causes him to often be unreasonably or unwarrantedly aggressive when dealing with just about anyone, possibly starting fights out of the blue against targets that may otherwise prove useful.
