Summary

Cid Pollendina is the Airship Mechanic of the Baron kingdom and one of the protagonists of Final Fantasy IV. Being one of Cecil's long time friends, he's aided him both in the frontlines through his airships and as a friend during his hardships. One day when the King of Baron sent Cecil to deliver a package to Mist, Cid was arrested due to his suspecions of the kingdom starting to rise. He's set free from his jail cell after Cecil and his allies defeated the water fiend Cagnazzo, disguised as the king of Baron this entire time. After finishing his touches on the newest airship model, he sets out with Cecil's group to stop the remaining Baron forces led by Golbez to save the world from it's utter destruction.

Intelligence: Genius. Is one of the best mechanics in the land, being able to find many ways to fix his ships while even in critical condition, and taught Luca how to use spare parts from a doll to fix a shot down airship, and should be at least comparable to Cecil and Kain in terms of combat experience, who are superior in combat experience than the Baron knights, who are trained to analyze their targets in a few seconds to determine their weaknesses to take them down.[1]
