Phagogenesis ("Feeding Mating"): A Chimera Ant queen can absorb the characteristics of ingested creatures and impart them onto the next generation of Chimera Ants it gives birth to, they don't need a mate and can do this by just feeding. Her abilities in producing soldiers apparently evolve after eating humans. At first, she was able to give her offspring intelligence when they are born, then she began producing clothes to each soldier as they are born, the offspring intended to have more authority, such as the Royal Guards, were born with Nen. She allocated most of the power to the King who she wanted to be the pinnacle and rule the world.
