Summary

C/H/A/S/E, more commonly known as Chase the Wandering Robot, was a giant robot created by a Hollywood Studio to serve as a special effect for a Summer Blockbuster. During production of the film, the director and the producers desired Chase to display Free Will for the sake of an improvised scene, and so against better judgement the engineers activated her Artificial Intelligence. However, instead of becoming the world's first robot actress, Chase instead left the studio and began her long march south towards Antarctica, where she would bring about the world's destruction by communicating with unseen alien forces and spelling out "VOID" in the Earth's atmosphere.

None of this is true. "Chase the Wandering Robot" was actually the title of a movie conceived by Walt Disney. No one is gone forever.
