“ | Bad food sells burgers Steve! Bad food sells burgers... | „ |
~ Cesare |
Summary
Cesare is the main antagonist of the episode "ZOMBURGER" and the second season of the animated web series Bigtop Burger.
The manager of Bigtop Burger's rival food truck, Zomburger, his truck is themed around zombies, the undead, horror, etc. He has committed himself and his employees to selling the most disgusting food he can, focusing more on how it looks and if people make online posts about the burgers more than if they tasted good.
However, it is revealed in season 2 that he's actually a real undead being, with Zomburger just being a ploy for him to capture Steve, the owner of Bigtop Burger.
Cesare is based on the character of the same name from the 1920 silent film The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.

- Smoke Manipulation (Can "poof" into puffs of smoke when transforming.)
- Social Influencing (Convinced Steve into putting on the gifts despite their long rivalry. Tim was greatly admiring the backpack and lunchbox, claiming he'd "give everything he owned to get a lunchbox that high-quality". Billie and Penny started to admire "the Big Stetson".)
- Paralysis Inducement, Sealing, and Possibly Power Nullification (After being restrained by the kettlebells, Steve was completely immobilized under their weight. He also was seemingly unable to use any of his abilities like teleportation to escape, which could've also been due to the kettlebells.)

Notes
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 In the end credits for season one, the theme used was UP and had Steve in the credits as well as in the cover art for the song along with the rest of Bigtop Burger. It was later revealed in the season 2 episode of the same name that the lyrics were actually telling Steve's backstory. ("I'm old deut, now he's old deut, I've lost the part" refers to how Steve fumbled his lines and was replaced by Peanut. "down, down, down, to the center of the earth," of course, refers to Steve crashing into the Earth.) As such, because Cesare is seen within the end credits of season two and the rest of Zomburger shows up on the cover art for Friends In Low Places, it leads to the clear implication that Friends In Low Places is from the perspective of and is telling Cesare's backstory.
