Range: Several meters with tentacles, tens of meters with webs, keratin spikes and by throwing objects.

Intelligence: At least Average (Over the course of the game, Carrion learns how to operate machines, use the environment to its advantage and outsmart humans. All culminating to the point where it can live a normal life in a city completely undetected while disguising itself as a human.)
Weaknesses: Can't use certain abilities after acquiring a significant amount of biomass. Some abilities require energy to be used.

- Parasitism: Carrion assumes direct control of other organisms, mainly humans, by penetrating them with a tentacle. It works on both living and dead hosts, as long as the body is still intact. Once upgraded, Carrion takes the form of a human, allowing it to fool bio-scanners.

- Arachnoptysis: Carrion shoots a coweb to trap victims and interact with objects. Can be used to conduct electricity.
- Photokinesis: Carrion bends its surrounding light to create an invisibility cloak. Requires energy to use it.

- Xiphorrea: Carrion covers itself with claws and launches forward with enough strength to damage vent covers and wooden walls.
