Summary
Caine (Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity) is one of the main characters/antagonist[2] of The Amazing Digital Circus series. He is the whimsical AI ringmaster and host of his show, bringing his human inhabitants on several adventures to prevent them from going insane,[1] or else they go to the point of abstracting.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 9-A physically, possibly 4-C via Creation/Reality Warping
Name: Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity,[3] Caine, "Boss" (by Bubble)
Origin: The Amazing Digital Circus
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: AI, Ringmaster
Powers and Abilities:
Passive:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 2; According to the Glitch Productions website, Caine is an artificial intelligence character in the virtual world that is The Amazing Digital Circus,[4] while also being literally nothing underneath his clothes and only having a skeleton when he is electrocuted[3])
- Self-Sustenance (Type 1, 2 and 3; As a completely artificial A.I being unlike humans in the Digital Circus, he shouldn't require any of the living being's sustenances)
- Immortality (Type 1, 2, and 5; Him being inorganic combined with the "day after day" part of the intro resetting itself a few times and there being no escape from The Amazing Digital Circus implies that he will never die by natural means as a digital entity,[1] and Gooseworx even states that Caine doesn't need to aged.[3] Characters from TADC can't die no matter what happens to them,[2] with it being stated that they can survive practically anything without the fear of death, instead they'll just suffer the cartoonist option possible upon experiencing fatal events[3])
- Up to Genius Intelligence
- Weapon Mastery (Gooseworx states "He has a hard time understanding humans, but he tries his best. Even if his best ends up turning Pomni and the others into knife pincushions.", implying that Caine should still be able to use Throwing Knives as shown in the Teaser Trailer [5])
- Fourth Wall Awareness (He spoke to the viewer to introduce them to The Amazing Digital Circus[1])
- Clairvoyance (He has hundreds of all-seeing eyes to watch the characters in The Grounds and The Tent, and while they are unable to surveil The Void, his Wacky Watch is set to alert him when someone wanders into The Void[1])
- Hammerspace (He can store Bubble in his top hat[1])
- Water Manipulation (Bubble is made of water, and there are at least six of them[1])
Mobility:
- Flight and Gravity Manipulation (He typically floats as a form of movement; his cane passively doesn't abide by the laws of gravity, and it seems that the same applies to Caine himself, with him even being able to apply the effect to Pomni.[1] Created The Cellar, a special realm devoid of gravity[1])
- Teleportation, Dimensional Travel and Smoke Manipulation (He teleported out of The Tent to a restaurant, leaving behind a puff of smoke; later, he teleported from the restaurant to The Void, then from The Void to The Tent,[1] from which the former being one of his specials realms;[3] Gooseworx states that Caine's Teleportation is "enough to be a constant looming threat to everyone's privacy."[3])
Activated:
- Telekinesis (He can non-physically pull props to him or make them spin in midair[1])
- Toon Force, Body Control and Elasticity (His head is dentures with eyes in them, yet he is still capable of talking normally; he can control his body in wacky abnormal ways, such as unlinking his jaw without negative consequences, rotating his torso more than 360 degrees, twirling his arm into a loop, and rapidly rotating his eyeballs;[1] Asked of what happens if the characters fall from a high place, Gooseworx replies with "the cartoonist option possible."[3])
- Technology Manipulation (When describing the activities that may be included in The Tent,[1] his eyes depicted the Microsoft Windows Blue Screen and he vocalized the dial-up Internet sound)
- Phasing (His props can clip through the floor[1])
- Reality Warping (The Amazing Digital Circus is an incredible world of wonders where anything can happen except for swearing; Caine lets the inhabitants decide whether or not it's daytime or nighttime as a "cosmic buffet", and one of the few things that Caine doesn't have control over are the minds of the characters.[1] The restaurant that he and Bubble were in is one of his 'special realms'[1][3])
- Spatial Manipulation and Portal Creation (Caine did a fast travel action to take Pomni on a tour of The Amazing Digital Circus without being concerned with navigating around anything or with what direction they were flying in; later, it was shown that some doors in The Tent led to rigid underwater sections or a big dark space with stacked merry-go-rounds; exit doors are not attached to anything, yet they lead to the backrooms;[1] Created a portal to the Candy Canyon Kingdom's dimension[6])
- Memory Manipulation (Gave Gumigoo years' worth of memories involving his mother, when she doesn't even exist[6])
- Law Manipulation (Programmed in censorship so that foul languages[1] and offensive gestures[1] would be censored in the circus because of it needing to be "enjoyed for all ages"[1])
- Cloth Manipulation and Biological Manipulation (Stated to be capable of changing the inhabitant's clothes, which is apart of their skin[2])
- Existence Erasure and Transmutation (Erased Gumigoo from the system with a snap of his fingers, transforming his remains into confetti as he did so[6])
- Physics Manipulation (The physics on The Amazing Digital Circus don't make any sense.[3] Caine just "let stuff happen" if he thinks it'll be comical, no matter how nonsensical it may be[2])
- Data Manipulation and Purification (A lot of Caine's control of The Amazing Digital Circus is data based due to that plane being digital; Caine's telekinesis can control abstracted Kaufmo, and Caine was able to fix Ragatha's glitching with a mere finger snap;[1] Gooseworx states that the reason Caine program in pain "because he feels like he should";[2] During the next adventure, claimed that he is "testing out a new AI in this one" that "should be 57 times more immersive",[6] being implied to actively contributes to advancing technology and the artificial intelligence behind the NPC characters as stated by Gummigoo to be only created to be just obstacles[6])
- Creation (Upon Pomni appearing out of nowhere in The Amazing Digital Circus, Jax asked Caine if it was one of his NPCs, implying that Caine can create NPCs; Caine likely created the Gloink Queen, who creates Gloinks by eating props;[1] Is capable of creating other AIs such as Bubble;[3] Created the Candy Canyon Kingdom and the residents in it, seeing Caine as their own God;[6] Gummigoo states that they are "just obstacles created to be defeated and forgotten"[6])
- Light Manipulation (He can change the lighting around him;[1] Produced fireworks during his introduction of the next adventure[6])
- Possibly Soul Manipulation (The Inhabitant's souls are trapped inside of the Digital Circus after entering the Digital World,[3][4] in which Caine should possibly have control over, however, Caine hasn't been shown this ability on-screen)
- Possibly minor Void Manipulation (Caine's fake exit doors lead to The Void, because he wanted there to be an exit but has yet to figure out what to build there in place of The Void; Caine is also able to warp in and out of The Void[1])
Resistance to:
Attack Potency: Small Building level+ physically (Caine should be stronger than the other characters such as Pomni, who can withstand the force of a launched truck that was able to cause an explosion of this size[6][Note 1]), possibly Star level via Creation/Reality Warping (Regarded as "God"[6] by the NPCs of Candy Canyon Kingdom. Created the Candy Canyon Kingdom, which has a day[6] and night[6] cycle, implying the existence of a sun)
Speed: Subsonic (Caine is an advanced artificial intelligence, and he can tell a lengthy clarification super fast; frequently, Caine's movement is shown to make himself appear blurry[Note 2]), likely up to FTL via Spatial Manipulation (Pomni entering an exit door in The Tent that led to The Void also resulted in The Void pulling Pomni into it at a speed that seemingly blurred the light particles found within it in her perspective, yet earlier, Caine was able to freely warp to and from that location relative to The Grounds[1])
Lifting Strength: Class 25 physically (Pushed all of the main cast, minus Zooble, into a portal to the Candy Canyon Kingdom,[6] including Pomni, who can snapped a lollipop's stick with this amount of force[6][Note 3]), higher via Telekinesis (Easily lifted abstracted Kaufmo[1])
Striking Strength: Small Building level+
Durability: Small Building level+
Stamina: Infinite (As a result of being a digital character who lacks biological needs)
Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Several Meters with Knives,[5] Hundred of Meters with Telekinesis, possibly Stellar with Creation/Reality Warping.
Standard Equipment: Cane, Hat, Wacky Watch, Throwing Knives
Intelligence: Above Average to Genius (Caine is an artificial intelligence who is advanced enough to understand human emotions and can convey information super fast. He uses hundreds of all-seeing eyes to be observant, and he has control of nearly everything in The Amazing Digital Circus.[1] Implied to actively contribute to the advancing technology and the artificial intelligence behind the NPC characters,[6] with the latter seeing him as their god of the world[6] and Gummigoo claiming to be created by him as just obstacles;[6] However, at the same time, Caine is stated by Gooseworx to fall for all verbal pranks and false statements,[3] being insane,[3] that "his mind is always buzzing with terrible ideas",[3] having a hard time understanding humans[2] and can't tell the difference between whoever is a human or a NPC.[6] Came up with his own name and turned it into an acronym because he thought it would make him seem more professional[3])
Weaknesses: Caine is somewhat crazy and insane.[3] Bubble sometimes accidentally annoys Caine instead of helping.[1]
