Summary
Cadaverous Gant is a Neoteric Sorcerer whose magic revolve around making any place his "home" inside of which he becomes the "king of his domain" possessing Superhuman abilities while inside of that domain and being able to alter reality within it.
He first appears in Skulduggery Pleasant: The Dying of the Light where he was accompanied by Jeremiah Wallow and planned on murdering Valkyrie Cain. They arrive in Meeke Ridge where a farmhouse that Valkyrie settled in was located, and enter Danny's store, asking him if he had seen any Irish women. After receiving an unsatisfying answer, they tail Danny's car when he left the store to deliver grocery supplies to Valkyrie's house but are led away by Danny when he realised he was being followed and are led to the Eddie Sullivan's house, it is implied that they brutally beat or killed Sullivan to shake information out of him after Danny left. Gant and Wallow later murder an entire family and find out about the location of Valkyrie's house through posing as news reporters of their own crimes, they spot Danny lurking outside the house and tie him up to use him as bait to lure out Valkyrie. When she is undiscovered by the duo during her unsuccessful attempt to free Danny, they abduct him in their car trunk and leave behind a trail of murders for Valkyrie to follow on the way to their house. After reaching their house and chaining Danny, they find Valkyrie trying to free Danny again and Wallow is killed, to Gant's fury. Gant in a rage, began to beat down on Valkyrie but is distracted by Danny attacking his silver Cadillac, Gant recalls how Wallow polished it to perfection to make him proud and darts to Danny, being lured outside of his home. He is then beaten by Valkrie and forced to retreat.
He later reappears in Skulduggery Pleasant: Resurrection as a Minor Antagonist and in Skulduggery Pleasant: Midnight as the Main Antagonist.
