Summary

Bubbles is the main deuteragonist of the animated television series The Powerpuff Girls, along with her sisters Blossom and Buttercup. She is the Joy and the Laughter; she is the emotional glue of the superhero trio.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Small Size (Type 0), Flight, Heat Vision and Eye Blast (Her heat vision can be used as a way of projecting lasers that also can be used to heat up surfaces to the degree of attracting a heat seeking missile), Self-Sustenance (Type 1), Enhanced Senses (Has super senses such as sight and hearing which allows her to hear screams from across the city, and sight to scan long distances. Can see through the dark, and through objects using x-ray vision), Vehicular Mastery (Can pilot an advanced attack Deckboat), Tornado Generation, Cyclone Spinning, Fire Manipulation and Aura (Generation, Aura and Mimicry, in their respective colors), Sound Manipulation and Vibration Manipulation (Her main ability to differentiate from her sisters; her supersonic screaming which serves as both a shockwave and loud scream that can cause massive destruction to its surroundings and to her opponents), Electricity Manipulation (Can produce electric bolts to use as an attack), Mutagen Empowerment, H2H Combat, Acrobatics, Invisibility, Time Travel (Moved so fast in a race to achieve the Speed of Light that allowed them to move forward 50 years in time and then move back to present day. Implied by Ms. Keane that her reaching the speed of light the distance between successful points shrinks to zero thus the time passing back home is 50 years), Afterimage Creation, Breath Attack, Duplication and Afterimage Creation (Bubbles alongside the other three girls can spin themselves so quickly that they can create afterimages that can all serve as individual vessels to project a singular attack), Transformation, Size Reduction, Illusion Creation (Via magic tricks), Body Control (Can bulge her eyes out), Vocal Replication (Can make animal calls more effectively than her other sister, and can casually communicate with them), Electricity Manipulation, Forcefield Creation, Limited Power Bestowal, Dream Manipulation (Her powers can be utilized in her own dream sequences), Resistance to Extreme Temperature (Absorbing a solar flare only caused her a severe sunburn with implications that sunscreen would've cancelled out the burn. With Blossom exclaiming that acid "doesn't hurt them")

Speed: FTL+ (Flew to the a disco ball halfway from the sun in a short amount of time [14.684]. Flew quickly from an asteroid belt to earth in a second. She beat E-Male in a race, who could circle the globe in 7 seconds. She beat him by 4 seconds whilst being casual and starting the race late)

Lifting Strength: Class Y

Striking Strength: Large Planet level (Harmed both her fellow sisters and defeated them while they were holding back. When enraged she fought, defeated and violently killed monsters on Level 11 difficulty setting on Professor Utonium machine; in contrast to Buttercup and Blossom who usually fought on Level 9.)

Durability: Large Planet level (Can take attacks from her sisters, and the Rowdyruff Boys who are equal to her in power)

Stamina: Superhuman (Physically beyond physically peaked humans. Went an entire day of crime fighting alongside her other sisters. Can shrug off slash and piercing damage. Can withstand blows from those far beyond their physical class such as Dynamo and an Alien Spaceship whose attacks are on the level of those who usually tank attacks from the Powerpuff Girls. Resisted Mojo Jojo's high tech weapon intended to cause great pain to her)

Intelligence: Average (Despite having numerous dumbfounded moments throughout the show she has show much more impressive feats despite being in kindergarten. Can understand and speak multilingual in Spanish, Japanese and even to the extent of animals. Shows advanced knowledge and understanding of the Napoleonic War. An effective fighter in hand to hand who helped to outwit Mojo Jojo in battle alongside her other sisters)

Standard Tactics: When working on her own Bubbles while to an extent more peaceful when worked with the intent to take down a foe, Bubbles prefers to beatdown her enemy with the use of heavy hand to hand beatdowns, mainly alongside laser vision and supersonic screaming. She may also utilize electricity and energy projected attacks on her foe although less commonly than her usual methods.

Weaknesses: Ticklishness. Threatening of feminity can impair her fighting focus and teamwork such as embarrassment or failure. Antidote X can remove her powers reducing her to a normal girl. Bubbles is very emotional and naive, can be easily manipulated. She is incapable of escaping from fly paper. Bubbles struggles to fight something that is too cute and sometimes she is unable to do so, as she tends to have a fondness for cute things. Due to Bubbles being over emotional sometimes, she can be vulnerable to become upset easily. This causes her to seem weaker than her sisters.

Explanations

She can scream loud enough to shatter glass or buildings and stun opponents. Bubbles can speak multiple languages (although throughout the series we don't hear her speak any language other than English, Japanese, Spanish, or Squirrel).

In the episode "Ice Sore," Professor Utonium states that Bubbles' special ability is the ability to speak Spanish. However, as the series progresses, Bubbles' linguistic capabilities appear to grow. In the episode "Super Zeros," Bubbles is shown to be able to read and speak Japanese. In the episodes "Fuzzy Logic" and "Stray Bullet," Bubbles is shown to be able to speak Squirrel. Bubbles seems to have developed a complete understanding and speaking of animal languages.

In the episode "Reeking Havoc", Bubbles smelt the Professor's chili for the Chili Contest and she named the ingredients one by one without knowing them.

In the episode "Los Dos Mojos" Bubbles is seen unleashing a big fury of red lightning all around her, causing a lot of havoc. This ability is never seen again. Bubbles may not be aware of her full capabilities as she used this one in a confused state of mind.

Other signature abilities include Vaporize, Electricity Ball (colored light blue), Electric Blast and Blue Laser Beams.
