Summary
Bubble is a contestant from the Battle for Dream Island series, debuting during the first season. She has an extremely fragile body, but she's used to it and she usually has ways to be recovered after being popped, so although she worries about being popped sometimes, getting popped isn't really significant to her. Bubble is very gentle, happy, and forgiving towards other characters, but she also has some anxious and whiny characteristics due to being mistreated by Pencil and Match in her alliance. Bubble is also affiliated with Ruby, who she is glad to have in the alliance.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 2-C, higher with a spaceship, potentially higher via Budget Cuts | 2-C, higher with a spaceship
Key: Base | Yoyle Metal
Name: Bubble
Origin: Battle for Dream Island
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Classification: Bubble
Powers and Abilities:
- Object Physiology (Regular)
- Bubble Physiology & Inorganic Physiology (Type 1; Is a living bubble)
- Large Size (Type 0; 3.97924608899 meters)
- Vehicular Mastery (Capable of piloting spaceships)
- Resurrection using the Bubble Recovery Center
- Ice Manipulation with Freeze Juice Syringes
- Transformation via eating Yoyleberries or Yoylecake (Turns her body into metal upon eating them)
- Flight (Was given a balloon that allows her to fly[1])
Bubble, being a BFDI host, has the potential to perform the following abilities like the Announcer has because of control over the budget of the show, although she never demonstrated this herself:
- Reality Warping, Existence Erasure, and Summoning (Budget Cut users can buy anything they can afford[2], and downgrade the quality of the show until it disappears,[3] which is consistent with Purple Face's statement that everyone was going to be turned off forever[4])
- Plot Manipulation and BFR (Budget Cuts erased Black Hole from an episode with a thought causing him to not appear for the rest of the episode[5])
- Power Nullification (Budget Cuts made the Box of Paper Slips unusable[6])
All previous abilities minus Bubble Physiology.
- Metal Physiology
- Statistics Amplification & Speed Reduction (The Yoyle Metal form makes BFDI contestants more durable, so much so that their material can repair the Tiny Loser Chamber[7] that can contain[8] Black Hole, and they can survive attacks from Four.[9] Due to being made of metal, the character's weight is increased to the point where they can't move as fast or jump as high as their base forms.[10])
- Teleportation (Characters made of Yoyle Metal seem to gain the ability to teleport like Evil Leafy does.[11])
Resistance to:
- Extreme Cold (Characters made of Yoyle Metal are completely unaffected by the effects of Freeze Juice,[12] which is capable of freezing those who are capable of withstanding the temperatures of outer space.[13][14][15])
- Energy Projection (Snowball was able to use a Yoyle Metal form to nullify the harmful effects of lasers, even from Four.[9])
- Flight
- Energy Projection
- Statistics Amplification (Can increase the speed of the laser fire via super speed mode)
- Temperature Manipulation (Spongy’s spaceship was able to make the sun significantly grow in size using a laser[16])
Attack Potency: Low Multiverse level (Comparable to other contestants capable of harming Two. One-shot the Announcer by eating him[17][Statistics Value 1]), higher with a spaceship (The spaceships are easily capable of one-shotting other contestants with ease, comparable to lasers from Spongy’s Private Jet, which made the sun become significantly larger[16]), potentially higher via Budget Cuts (Although Bubble has never demonstrated budget cuts like the Announcer has, she should have the potential to, being a BFDI host, similar to how Four and X have the potential to[18]) | Low Multiverse level (Just as strong as before[Statistics Value 2]), higher with a spaceship
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Comparable to Donut, who can react to a Gamma Ray Burst that travelled 600 million light years in less than a second,[19] as well as Tree, who can react with a thumbs up shortly after letting go of his rocket and shortly before falling into Black Hole[20] while moving at these speeds[Statistics Value 3]) | Massively FTL+ (Despite being slower than before due to being made of metal, she shouldn’t be too far behind her original speed[Statistics Value 4])
Lifting Strength: Multi-Stellar (Was able to move an enlarged sun which weighs this much with the rest of the Have Cots.[21] Comparable to TV, who can push Black Hole with this much force[22][Statistics Value 5]), possibly Multi-Galactic (Comparable to Blocky, Flower, Loser, Taco, and Woody, who were able to rotate the Earth with their combined strength with this much force,[23] assuming the underworld, an alternate universe,[24] is present inside of the Earth's core[Statistics Value 6])
Striking Strength: Low Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level
Durability: Below Average Human level for her body (Has been consistently shown to be easily one-shotted/popped by sharp objects (shards, cakes, kicks, spikes, tacks, forks, etc.) and pressure (Being crushed, overwhelmed, tightened, etc.), to the point she even acknowledges how easy it is for her to pop), Low Multiverse level for her limbs (Scales to her Striking Strength, should be comparable to other contestants) and with a spaceship (Should be more durable than other contestants’ base forms[Statistics Value 7]) | Low Multiverse level (Due to her physiology being replaced, she should be just as durable as the other metal contestants[Statistics Value 8])
Stamina: Superhuman (Objects are consistently able[25] to traverse long distances[26] or do a constant action[27] without any signs of tiring out,[28] with some of these instances lasting days, such as when the only surviving BFDIA contestants had to crank the Hand-Powered Hand-Powered Recovery Center Creator for 78 days straight in order to revive their dead team members.[29] The longest they have been able to go[30] without tiring is 4 years,[31] when the EXITors were trying desperately to find a way of the EXIT for the past 4 years without stopping)
Range: Standard Melee Range, Tens of Meters via Freeze Juice Syringes (Comparable to Pencil, who threw the syringes this far), Interplanetary with Elasticity (Comparable to the likes of Coiny, who is able to extend his arm this long,[32] Pin, who presumably grabbed Callisto from space off-screen,[33] and Tennis Ball, who extended his legs into space this long to reach Puffball[34][Statistics Value 9]) and with a spaceship (Comparable to Spongy’s private jet, in which a laser from it could reach the sun from Earth), potentially Low Multiversal via Budget Cuts
Standard Equipment: None notable
- Optional Equipment: Scissors, Spaceship, Bubble Recovery Center, Freeze Juice, Yoylecake, Yoyleberry|Yoyleberries]], Balloon
Intelligence: Above Average (Bubbles may not have brains, but she is capable of operating a spaceship and has multiple BFDI seasons worth of experience with challenges)
Weaknesses: Bubble can be easily popped. Despite her courageousness and care to her friends, Bubble can sometimes tend to worry in situations, and her trying to interfere can often cause negative consequences to her. The spaceship’s super speed mode will waste more energy when used. | Due to being made of metal, an the object’s weight is increased to the point where they can’t move as fast or jump as high as their base forms.[10]
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Bubble Physiology/Floatability: Being a bubble, Bubble is mostly made of extremely thin water with air inside. This means she can pop simply by being poked, though she doesn't die from her own limbs and face moving because of Toon Force. Her physiology comes with some advantages though. She has a slight degree of control over her water, and due to her light weight, Bubble falls very slowly.
Note 1: The times Bubble's body survived being rammed into her team’s tower and falling onto the sun after being thrown up are considered outliers given the comedic nature of how easy it is for Bubble’s body to pop to the point of acknowledging it herself.
Note 2: When including her immortality in a VS match, you must specify which season she’s currently competing in since every season has a different method of recovery and not all contestants appeared in every season. If she’s not competing in any competitions, you can restrict this ability.
Notable Matchups
