Summary
Brauner is a vampiric nobleman and the main antagonist of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. He lost his daughters during the events of World War I, and was under so much despair that he succumbed to the darkness and turned into a Vampire. He believed that Eric Lecarde's daughters are the reincarnation of his daughters, and turned both of them into vampires to live with them forever. He controls the entirety of Dracula's castle through his paintings in order to rule the world without Dracula's rule as he deemed him unworthy to rule the humans, until he met his untimely demise at the hands of Death.
