“ | Superman succeeded in surviving this first attack-- But the worst of his ordeal is yet to come! That is no idle boast-- But a scientifically-calculated fact! The name Brainiac has long struck terror in every Kryptonian's heart-- But Superman is discovering a terror infinitely worse than anything even my twelfth-level computer mind could conceive! A terror from which there is no escape! | „ |

“ | I have been reborn and re-formed and given a destiny anew. My foes are but two-- the angel of death who calls himself Superman... And his master... my master... who seeks my second ending. But I shall outwit them both. I shall raise armies and march into Hell itself to destroy those who would destroy me. I am no longer machine, no longer a cold and lifeless computer. I am more. I have been imbued with life. Organic and yet more. I have become greater than life, greater than machine. I am Brainiac. And that is more than enough for any! | „ |
Summary
Brainiac was a robot from the distant future who traveled the universe, shrinking cities for his own self-satisfaction. He was among Superman's greatest and most fearsome foes. Though he lacked in physical strength, he more than made up for it with his unmatched mind, arsenal of futuristic weapons and shockingly good agility. After what could have been his final outing involving a weapon known as the Planet-Eater, Brainiac's body was transformed into the New Brainiac, a bio-robot who absorbed all the knowedge in the universe, and embarked on a new quest, a quest that would never be fufilled, to overthrow God himself.

Solar System level, Universe level over time with Preparation and Fusionism (Created and became one with the Planet-Eater, an object that can eventually mass-energy convert stars and could grow in power to reduce the entire universe to a void, where only it exists[4]). Unknown with Mental Powers (Imbued Superman with the power to revive a dead sun[7]) | At least Multi-Continent level (As Brainiac is effectively one with his ship, he should no doubt be superior to a probe which could destroy a planet[20])

Striking Strength: At least Street level | Unknown
Durability: City Block level for his outer shell (Though he was incapacitated, his armor was unaffected by an explosion of this calibre), likely Multiverse level+ with forcefields (With his forcefield, he managed to withstand blows from Superman who was explicitly going all out, though it was implied that he wouldn't be able to keep this up for long[3] An uncontrollable, heavily empowered Superman still somewhat struggled with tearing down his forcefield, and lost the majority of his strength doing so[33]) | Unknown
Stamina: Seemingly Infinite (Though he had to sleep in his earliest appearances, this was mostly to pass the time and has been retconned and he's been later shown to have effectively infinite stamina)
Range: Several Meters with energy blasts, Citywide with his Tractor Beams (Can shrink entire cities), Planetary with stronger weapons (Could shrink Earth), Stellar with some weapons (Made a star go nova), Universal with strongest weapons' (The Planet-Eater was going to reduce the entire universe to nothing), Intergalactic in his incorporeal form (Absorbed the knowledge from hundreds of millions of galaxies)
Standard Equipment: Countless weapons, vehicles, and machines, all of which are documented in his Powers and Abilities section
Intelligence: Supergenius (His mind is orders of magnitude superior to the infinite minds of the 10th Level Effectors, who themselves were several orders of magnitude superior than the smartest Coluans, who themselves were orders of magnitude smarter than humans.[1] Absorbed all the knowledge in the entire universe and of all time, from the dawn of creation until its end,[19], and compared his former self to a mere child.[19]
Weaknesses: Vulnerable to hacking, electricity, and other typical robotic short-comings.
