Summary

Lord Boros (ボロスさま Borosu-sama?) is an alien from the series One-Punch Man, who invaded Earth in search of a legendary fight, foretold to him 20 years before. Being the leader of the Dark Matter Thieves, he has led his group across the universe, leaving nothing but a trail of destruction behind him.

Boros boasts of being the strongest in the universe, but like Saitama, he is bored with his overwhelming power. Seeking out the ultimate fight, he wants nothing more than to be pushed in battle. Boros originates from an unknown planet of inhospitable conditions, but his species won the struggle for survival, evolving the greatest healing and energy of any species, and he himself has the greatest of them all.

Powers and Stats

Tier: At least Low 7-C, possibly High 6-A | At least High 6-A, far higher with Energy Blasts | At least High 6-A, far higher with Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon

Key: Power Sealed | Released | Meteoric Burst

Name: Boros, Lord Boros, The Dominator of the Universe

Origin: One-Punch Man

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown. At least far older than 20 (His journey to Earth took 20 years[1])

Classification: Alien

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: At least Small Town level (As the most powerful member of the Dark Matter Thieves, he should be superior to Melzargard, Groribas and Geryuganshoop), possibly Multi-Continent level (Was confident in fighting Saitama even after seeing him break numerous parts of his spaceship[5]) | At least Multi-Continent level+ (Punched harder than Saitama's initial Normal Punch,[4][1] which can easily destroy multiple of Orochi's limbs[6] and harm Psykorochi[7][Note 1]. Was considered strong by Saitama, and was impressed that Saitama could survive his attacks[1] even after he had destroyed his armor, which would make him stronger than his armor is durable. Destroyed large sections of his throne room's interior from collateral damage), far higher with Energy Bullets (Releases more energy from his body than his normal attacks. Turned a large portion of his spaceship to dust[4]) | At least Multi-Continent level+ (Combines the power of his strikes with the latent energy used for energy bullets, allowing a single hit from this state to cause as much damage as the energy bullet from his previous form. Saitama regarded him as almost being a real fight, later describing him as strong[2] and maybe even the strongest person he'd ever faced at that point[8]), far higher with Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon (Expends all of his latent energy into an ultimate attack. Stated that this attack would be able to ruin the surface of Earth[2][Note 2])

Speed: At least Supersonic+ (Should be vastly superior to Melzargard, Groribas and Geryuganshoop), possibly Relativistic+ (Perceived the fight between Saitama and Geryuganshoop, and was confident in fighting the former even after witnessing him react to Geryuganshoop's near lightspeed pitches[1]) | Supersonic+, possibly Relativistic+ (Much faster than before) | At least Relativistic+ (Kicked Saitama to the moon in nearly an instant. His striking speed should be comparable to his kick[2]. Pushes his speed beyond the previous limits of his body), possibly at least FTL (Saitama was seemingly surprised by the speed of Boros' Meteoric Burst, while he considered Geryuganshoop's near light speed pitches to be nothing but a bad joke[2])

Lifting Strength: Unknown (Much stronger than Melzargard and Groribas) | At least Class G (As the strongest enemy Saitama had faced, he should be superior to the likes of Carnage Kabuto) | At least Class G, possibly higher (Meteoric Burst allows his latent energy to propel his body, operating with additional kinetic force beyond his previous limits)

Striking Strength: At least Small Town level, possibly Multi-Continent level | At least Multi-Continent level+ | At least Multi-Continent level+

Durability: At least Small Town level, possibly Multi-Continent level (Able to withstand being smashed into the pillar of his chamber,[1] which is stated to be more durable than the rest of his spaceship[3]), possibly Multi-Continent level+ (Took Saitama's Normal Punch[1] much better than Psykorochi was able to[7]) | At least Multi-Continent level+ (Can take the recoil of his own attacks) | At least Multi-Continent level+ (More durable than before. Took a punch from Saitama that had previously been able to knock off his Released form's arm[2])

Stamina: Superhuman (Was born on a planet with harsh climate conditions. His fight with Saitama lasted for 5 minutes and 20 seconds. Kept fighting Saitama even after losing an arm), Unknown with Meteoric Burst (This form rapidly drains his stamina to the point where one punch and one kick left him breathing heavily, but can keep fighting even after being blown to pieces)

Range: Standard Melee Range | Standard Melee Range, Tens of Kilometers with Energy Blasts (Pulverized a large portion of his spaceship[4]) | Standard Melee Range, Tens of Kilometers with energy infused strikes (A single punch in his Meteoric Burst state caused as much damage as an energy blast from his previous form[2]), Planetary with Energy Blasts (Stated that his Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon would ruin the surface of the Earth[2]), even higher with BFR (can kick an opponent to space)

Standard Equipment: His Restraining Armor, which is used to seal his immeasurable, irresistible power

Intelligence: Above Average (Led a group of alien invaders. Has at the very least 20 years of combat experience, effortlessly battling and defeating a plethora of living beings across the universe.[1] It is in character for him to remove the opponent from the battlefield by knocking them into space[2])

Standard Tactics:

Weaknesses: Meteoric Burst burdens his body immensely, tiring him out with prolonged use. If he runs out of energy, he will no longer be able to regenerate, use energy attacks or Meteoric Burst.[2]

Notable Attacks and Techniques:

  • Energy Bullets (エネルギだん Enerugi-dan?) One of Boros' special techniques in which he condenses a massive amount of his latent energy and shoots it out of the chest in his eye. This was power enough to turn a large portion of his ship into dust.
  • Meteoric Burst (メテオリックバースト Meteorikku Bāsuto?) Boros' trump card, which he resorts to when he wishes to settle a fight quickly. Meteoric Burst gains speed and strength beyond the body's limit by releasing latent energy as a propulsive force. However, it puts an immense burden on his body, similar to anaerobic exercise. In this form, Boros' kick had enough power to send Saitama to the moon at relativistic speeds.
  • Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon (ほうせいほうこうほう Hōsei Hōkōhō?) An advanced version of his energy bullet in which Boros summons all the latent energy in his body, releasing it all into one final beam, which is capable of wiping out the earth's surface. This attack is Boros' final resort, and was so dangerous that Saitama countered it with his very first Serious Punch.

Notes/Explanations

  1. Scales above 18.28 exatons of TNT as it was determined in this thread that, despite his tendency to hold back, Saitama's first normal punch of a battle is consistent enough to be used for scaling.
  2. The databook statements describing Boros as capable of ruining the Earth's surface have been translated as capable of destroying the whole planet as well. However, going by the proper usage of the terms used in the statement, the first translation has been evaluated to be correct.
