Megadimension Neptunia VII OST - Absolute (Next Form Theme)
Neptunia re★Verse OST - White Wings (Re★Mix)
Summary
Blanc (ブラン, Buran), also known as White Heart (ホワイトハート, Howaito Hāto), is the Guardian Goddess of Lowee, a nation residing on the continent of Gamindustri, and a primary protagonist of the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise.
At the beginning of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Blanc is shown to be fighting against an enemy known as CFW Magic after Gamindustri was put under the threat of the Deity of Sin, whom CFW Magic, along with the entirety of ASIC, or the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime, are devoted to reviving. After her defeat by CFW Magic, she, the rest of the Goddesses, as well as the Goddess Candidate of Planeptune, Nepgear, were all captured and were confined in the Gamindustri Graveyard for three years. Eventually, the Goddesses would all get rescued thanks to the efforts of the Goddess Candidates and the Makers, and later, would go on to help Nepgear defeat the Deity of Sin, and bring peace back to Gamindustri[1].
As the Goddess of Lowee, Blanc holds the responsibility of protecting the nation, and in return, she earns their faith, which is then converted into Share Energy, making her stronger.
Blanc is a quiet and introverted girl, and she may seem to be lifeless and apathetic in comparison to others (with Neptune once comparing her to a doll) with her calm demeanor and monotone voice. She enjoys simple hobbies such as reading during her spare time and writing, something she is overly passionate about and dreams of one day mastering as an author. However, she isn't very good at it and most struggle to convey her mediocre writing with her. She shows great care for her younger sisters, Rom and Ram, as she tries her best to keep them safe an under control. However, they do sometimes set her off, such as when they color and draw in her books, or if they explore somewhere dangerous without her. Underneath Blanc's normally calm exterior is an angry, rage-filled girl ready to yell at or attack those who provoke her. When this happens, she tends to become extremely violent and vulgar, cursing others out constantly. This side of Blanc is intentionally triggered by some people, such as Vert, whom Blanc has shown a level of jealousy towards due to her bigger breasts - something she has spoken on as a desire of her own - or just about anyone who mentions her lack of breasts, intentional or unintentional.
As a Goddess, Blanc can undergo a phenomenon known as Hard Drive Divinity and transform into her HDD Form, White Heart. As White Heart, her strength boosts dramatically from her previous form, allowing her to defeat enemies that would have otherwise proved troublesome for her Human Form. Even further than that, White Heart can use the Hyper Share Crystal to transform into an even greater state, the Next Form. As Next White (ネクストホワイト, Nekusuto Howaito), she becomes a lot calmer and acts largely the same as her prior form. The Next Form is currently Blanc's most powerful form, and is rarely ever seen.
Blanc is the personification of Nintendo home consoles.

Name: Blanc, White Heart, Next White; is called Blanny by a few of her friends like C-Sha
Origin: Hyperdimension Neptunia
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Classification: Guardian Goddess of Lowee
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Highly Proficient Hammer Wielder
- Martial Arts
- Share Energy Manipulation (General Abilities and Goddess-exclusive Abilities)
- Transformation (Through the phenomenon of Hard Drive Divinity, Blanc is able to transform into her Goddess Form, White Heart. Additionally, she can go one step beyond her Goddess Form and transform into her Next Form, Next White)
- Extrasensory Perception (Energy Sensing, Emotion Sensing, and Sight Display - When learning why they could not transform in Zero Dimension, Nepgear states that she could not feel their Shares, and when attempted to by Neptune, she too could not feel their Shares; Blanc should be similar to them in this regard. Goddesses and Candidates alike are able to sense sources of Share Energy from far distances[2][3], and can also sense Negative Energy[4]. Similar to Uni, who was unable to sense any malicious intentions from CFW Brave the first time they met each other[5]. Blanc states she can sense a faint energy in the Halo Forest, but questions if it's Vert's confidence or not[6]. The use of the "Sneaking Scope"[1][7] and "Sneaking Eye"[2] items allow Blanc to see an enemy's line of sight, as well as their blind spots)
- Abstract Existence (Type 2 - Share Energy) and Immortality (Types 1, 4, and 8 - Goddesses have been stated[8] and shown not to age physically[9], even when drained of most of their power[10]. Hyper Dimension Goddesses are entities[8] stated to be born from Share Energy[11]; essentially, they are physical manifestations of the people's faith, and they will continue to live so long as faith in them doesn't die[12]. They use Share Energy - even just the slightest amount, whether from a Share Crystal or their own bodies - to sustain their existences[13], for it constitutes[14] as their life force[15]; without Share Energy, they will perish, and their existence will be no more[16]. Additionally, as said by Histoire in Chapter 11 of Sisters VS Sisters, there are very few things that are capable of killing a Goddess[17], and given prior knowledge from previous games, is implicitly stating that the Share Energy used by said Goddess or Goddesses protects them from perishing, therefore meaning that Goddesses can only perish due to a lack of Share Energy (which is shown through both Uzume in VII[16], and Future Nepgear in Sisters VS Sisters[14]) or through a select few alternative methods, such as the use of Gehaburn[17], a sword specifically for eliminating Goddesses[15] by absorbing their Share Energy[17]. Goddesses are capable of resurrecting through the acquisition of Share Energy, occurring within the span of at least a minute, if they have lost their Shares and ceased to exist[18])
- Breaking the Fourth Wall (Blanc has shown her awareness of the fourth wall, remarking that she was once the protagonist of her own story, and sometimes references character popularity polls. Characters in Neptunia are aware of the player's existence and holds a "Thank You For Playing" celebration at the end of each game)
- Acausality (Type 1 - Remained unaffected by Kurome's rewriting of Gamindustri's history[19], as the Goddesses and Candidates were effectively removed from history, causing most of Gamindustri to forget who they are as well as being the catalyst for the Gold Third ruling over the rewritten Gamindustri[20], yet the Goddesses and Candidates themselves were still present)
- Holy Presence (Goddesses have been stated to be divine multiple times, and their presence is called "divine protection". Should the Goddess, Goddess Candidate if applicable, and Mascot of a nation be absent, all divine protection will be lost. In the case that they are missing, there would be significant changes to the nation[21])
- Power Bestowal (Everyone in RB;2's ending gave their powers to Nepgear to defeat the Deity of Sin[22])
- Limited Unconventional Space-Time Manipulation (Goddesses are able to distort space and time as a result of being 'great manifestations of power', as described by Future Gray Sister[23], upon being born. However, it's unknown if Goddesses distorting space and time are an occurrence beyond their births)
- Fear Aura when enraged (Blanc's rage was noted to be terrifying by C-Sha, and that the former's bloodthirsty aura was causing C-Sha to quiver[24])
- Enhanced Senses (Enhanced Sight: Neutral Vision - The use of "Laplace's Eye" allows Blanc to see Hidden Treasures at all times, which are normally invisible unless picked up by a Treasure Search pulse)
- Perception Manipulation (Vision Manipulation - Via the White Orb, enemies won't be able to spot Blanc, and she can only be seen when said enemies are attacked by them[2])
- Statistics Reduction (Via "Weaken Enemies", which hinders the statistics of any enemy, lowering them by around 25 to 30 percent)
- Accelerated Development (Leveling - Physical Statistics - Via "EXP Up", non-combat applicable)
- Non-Physical Interaction (Aided Nepgear in the defeat the Deity of Sin - a being whose true form is an incorporeal essence and an abstract amalgamation of negative emotions and desires that cannot be physically interacted with unless someone has a will that overpowers hers in strength[25] - by passing her will onto Nepgear, with the wills of almost everybody in Gamindustri contributing in allowing Nepgear to defeat her[22]. Consistently interacts with and defeats basic enemies that are classified as ghosts or made of data)
- Ice Manipulation (Multiple of Blanc's attacks utilize the Ice element. Some of these attacks include Hail Storm, which summons an icy tornado to attack the enemy; Shape Strike, which uses ice spikes to draw the enemy towards Blanc[26]; Getter Ravine, which uses the Ice element to attack[2]; Frost Avalanche, where Blanc teleports to the enemy and "chills them to the bone with the power of ice", creating several icicles to pierce the enemy[27]; and Freezing Blaster, which coats the battlefield in ice to strike every enemy[26])
- Lightning Manipulation (Via Thunder Hit, which is a powerful hammer blow that uses the power of lightning[2], and Augenblick Donna, which has Blanc strike the enemy down with lightning[26])
- Wind Manipulation (Via Blast Hit, which is a hammer strike imbued with the power of wind[2], and Wind Shape, which engulfs the enemy in a tornado with the swing of a hammer[26])
- Earth Manipulation (Both Giga Impact and Herrliche Erde utilize upheaved earth strikes to attack the enemy[27])
- Poison Manipulation (Via Schild Break, Blanc can inflict the Poison status on enemies[7])
- Teleportation (Akin to other Goddesses like Neptune, she has the ability to teleport in Sisters VS Sisters, which she can use multiple times without repercussion. Blanc warps to the enemy in Augenblick Donna to strike them down with lightning, and she's also shown to be able to teleport to the enemy in Frost Avalanche)
- Forcefield Generation (When a character performs a guard in Sisters VS Sisters, it generates a polyhedronal forcefield that covers their body which reduces the damage received from attacks by a significant amount, making it so attacks that dealt damage in the hundreds now only deal damage in the low tens[26])
- Atomization (Via The Mediator; The Mediator's description states that it ruthlessly atomizes anyone, enemy or ally[2])
All Resistances granted from Share Energy, in addition to:
- Existence Erasure (Fought against, and withstood attacks from, the Dark CPUs[2], who have been stated to possess the ability to erase entities and objects[3] from existence, turning them into nothingness[28], and its destruction erases matter to the point where it disappears into a void[29]. Withstood attacks from Vert's "Trishula", which is stated to make all matter become formless when pierced by it)
- Space-Time Manipulation (Battled against and withstood attacks from the Dark Goddesses, who are able to create enormous cracks in the sky that are described as cracks in the fabric of space and time[3], and are the result of the destruction of Heart Dimension's boundaries[11]. Remained unaffected by a Trendi Phenomenon freezing event, which freezes people[30] in space-time. Bypassed the dimensional vortex surrounding the Gamindustri Graveyard. Ventured to the center of the Gamindustri Graveyard; the Graveyard itself was noted to have a high frequency of Trendi Outbreaks and freezing phenomenons, and as a whole was described to essentially be one giant, constant Trendi Outbreak, but Blanc remained unaffected in spite of this[23])
- Memory Manipulation (The characters in Megadimension Neptunia VII were unaffected by Affimojas' sword gem, which Blanc described as a reason for why the changes in the world occurred, which would include the sudden memory loss from a majority of the citizens[4])
- Life Force Absorption, Soul Manipulation, and Power Absorption (Can withstand the effects of Zaikopath's attacks, which drains the victim of their life force and traps their soul within the main body of Zaikopath, putting their body in a constant state of slumber that they cannot wake up or recover from until Zaikopath is defeated. Zaikopath can also steal the power of those that are attacked by it, weakening them to a state where they can barely fight, and was able to prevent the Gold Third from using their Gold Forms[31])
- Elemental Manipulation (Frequently battles and takes attacks from characters whom possess attacks with the elements of Fire, Ice, Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Earth, and Water, and remains largely unaffected)
- Extreme Heat (Can withstand attacks from Nepgear's swords, which are noted to be extremely hot, made of lasers, said to be capable of reaching insanely high temperatures, or are capable of slicing through steel and alloys like butter[1]. Can easily withstand attacks from Virtual Blaze, whose description states that when it releases sound, the area flickers like a heat haze[11]. She is also capable of withstanding several sources of plasma, including: Ultra Dimension Neptune's "Plasma Twins", which are stated to form plasma when the swords come near each other; Nepgear's Gear Slash attack, which is a slash wave of plasma; and Uni's Solar Burn attack, which is a series of bullets that explode into bursts of plasma[27])
- Vibration Manipulation and Durability Negation (Virtually unaffected by attacks from Ultra Dimension Neptune's "Resonance Blades", which are stated to vibrate at an atomic level and cut through things by literally breaking atoms down[11])
- Absolute Zero (Able to withstand Ram's Absolute Zero attack, which is stated verbatim to have the "chill of Absolute Zero"[11], as well has her Sword of Zero attack, which creates a domain of absolute zero temperatures to drain the enemy's life[27])
- Mind Manipulation (Can resist the effects of S-Sha's "Chancer A" skill, which states that it confuses enemies by cramming several cryptic languages directly into the enemy's brain[11])
- Status Effect Inducement (Able to resist the direct infliction of both Paralysis and Confusion[11]. The "Negative Status Reduced" Plan can prevent Blanc from being inflicted with Paralysis, Transformation Negation (Virus), Poison, and Apathy)
- Regeneration (Low; through the use of Pink Idea Chips, Blanc can recover health overtime[2])
- Status Effect Inducement (Through the use of Yellow Idea Chips, Blanc can inflict the Poison, Paralysis, and Apathy statuses[7])
- Damage Reduction (Through the use of Blue Idea Chips, Blanc is able to take reduced damage from Dragon, Ghost, Insect, Plant, Aquatic, Slime, Avian, Data, Animal, Machine, Inorganic, Human, and Goddess category enemies, as well as take reduced damage from Physical, Magical, and Elemental attacks[7])
- Damage Boost (With "Combo Power+", Blanc's damage increases when performing a string of attacks[26])
- Resistance to:
- Elemental Manipulation (Through the use of Blue Idea Chips, Blanc is able to resist attacks that use the Fire, Ice, Wind, Lightning, Light, or Darkness elements[2])
- Status Effect Inducement (Through the use of Yellow Idea Chips, Blanc can resist being inflicted with Paralysis, Transformation Negation (Virus), Poison, Apathy, Confusion, and Shadow Bind[2])
All previous abilities on an enhanced scale, Flight, Light Manipulation (When a Goddess transforms, they emit a bright light that can be seen from faraway locations[32])
All previous abilities on a further enhanced scale, Portal Creation and Weapon Creation (Created a portal that revealed a gun in Blaster Controller[2])
Universe level+, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Defeated CFW Magic[5], who casually stomped the HDD Goddesses and Purple Sister at the beginning of mk2[33], and defeated her again after Magic was resurrected into a more powerful state - or "blessed" - by the Deity of Sin[25]. Assisted in the defeat of the Hyper Dimension True Deity of Sin, who possessed more power than its previous vessel and needed to be defeated by 16 characters at their strongest in mk2, including 8 HDD Form users[22])
Universe level+ with Low Shares (Stronger than her Human Form due to HDD being an amp of the Human Form, and Share levels determine the strength of the HDD Form), higher with Average Shares (Stronger than before due to possessing more Share Energy. Alongside Green Heart, she defeated at least 50 fake copies of the Goddesses[10], of which, the Purple Heart clone was said to have the possibility of defeating the real Purple Heart had she been alone[34]), even higher with High Shares (Much stronger than before; at this level of Shares, the HDD Forms should be comparable to, if not slightly weaker than, the True Deity of Sin), possibly Complex Multiverse level
Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Stronger than before due to becoming more powerful over the course of the canon. More powerful than Ultra Dimension Neptune, IF and Compa, and the Gold Third's Gold Forms, all of whom were participants in battles against the Complete Dark Goddesses - Dark Green[11], Dark White[13] and Dark Black[35] - as well as Dark Orange[36][16]. Fought and nearly defeated Arfoire, putting her vessel on the brink of death[15]; Arfoire had been growing stronger constantly overtime due to having possession of the IS Crystal[17], and beforehand, could battle against 7 HDD Form Goddesses at once[37])
Low Multiverse level with Low Shares (Stronger than her Current Human Form. With their full power, White Heart and the other HDD Form Goddesses were able to defeat an Arfoire-possessed Gray Sister, who had previously removed the limiter of the IS Crystal and absorbed its Shares, and was in possession of a massive amount of Shares to the point where Gray Sister/Maho was being torn apart by it[23]), higher with Average Shares (More powerful than before due to possessing more Shares. Fought and defeated Dark Orange, whose power was significant enough to cause the Next Form users to doubt their chance of victory, though Dark Orange was weakened and contained in a Sharing Field[36]), even higher with High Shares (More powerful than before, now possessing the highest amount of Shares they are known to have), possibly Complex Multiverse level
Low Multiverse level (Stronger than HDD Rei at full power, as the Next Forms are above any HDD form ever seen[2]. After transforming into their Next Forms for the first time, the Guardian Goddesses utterly humiliated Affimojas in their rematch[38]. As a step above the standard HDD Forms, and as a form unlocked by the entire world's faith, the Next Form should be significantly superior to the High Shares HDD Form), higher with Share levels (The Next Form, much like its predecessor, the HDD Form, gets stronger depending on how many Shares a Goddess has), possibly Complex Multiverse level
Speed: Speed of Light combat speed (Comparable in speed to Cave, whose Light Needle is stated to be attacking at the speed of light[1]) | FTL combat speed (Faster than her Human Form) | FTL combat speed (Faster than before due to growing more powerful; kept up with Resurrected Vessel Arfoire in battle a few times), higher with Dash Sneakers (Dash Sneakers increase the speed of a character when used) | FTL combat speed (Faster than her Current Human Form), higher with Dash Sneakers | FTL combat speed (Faster than the likes of HDD Rei Kiseijou), higher with Dash Sneakers
Lifting Strength: At least Class 5 (1292.1 kg / 1.2921 metric tons - Handily uses hammers this heavy as her main weapons) | At least Class 5, likely higher | Class 25, likely higher (12921 kg / 12.921 metric tons - Significantly more powerful than before) | Class 25, likely higher (More powerful than her Human Form) | At least Class 25, likely far higher (Above her previous state)
Striking Strength: Universe level+, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Universe level+ with Low Shares, higher with Average Shares, even higher with High Shares, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level with Low Shares, higher with Average Shares, even higher with High Shares, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level, higher with Share levels, possibly Complex Multiverse level
Durability: Universe level+, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Withstood attacks from Hyper Dimension TDoS Arfoire) | Universe level+ with Low Shares (Stronger than her Human Form), higher with Average Shares, even higher with High Shares, possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level, possibly Complex Multiverse level (Stronger than before; withstood attacks from Resurrected Vessel Arfoire[15]) | Low Multiverse level with Low Shares (Withstood attacks from an Arfoire-possessed Gray Sister with the IS Crystal's Shares absorbed into her; seemingly wasn't tired out at the end of the fight), higher with Average Shares (Withstood attacks from a weakened Dark Orange), even higher with High Shares (Much stronger than before), possibly Complex Multiverse level | Low Multiverse level (Far stronger than Full Power HDD Rei and her own HDD Form), higher with Share levels, possibly Complex Multiverse level
Stamina: Superhuman (Was able to survive for three years trapped in the Gamindustri Graveyard with extremely low Shares[33]. Should be comparable to Uzume, who was near death in the Revival Ending, yet she still pushed on and continued fighting off the monsters to prevent them from reaching Hyper Dimension[11])
Range: Extended Melee Range, Tens of Meters to Hundreds of Meters with certain skills | Same as before
Standard Equipment: A various assortment of hammers, Processor Units, armors, and Game Discs
- Optional Equipment:
- Detoxin: Fully recovers the user from Poison Manipulation.
- Paralaxin: Fully recovers the user from Paralysis Inducement.
- Reflex: Fully recovers the user from Power Nullification.
- Tuffmil: Fully recovers the user from Transformation Negation.
- Face Slapper: Fully recovers the user from Empathic Manipulation.
- Movealin: Fully recovers the user from Paralysis Inducement caused by Darkness Manipulation.
- Panacea: Fully recovers the user from all of the above.
Above Average normally, Gifted combatant (Blanc has shown expert use of hammers in combat, with it being her main fighting style for multiple years. She was able to hold her ground against a huge army of monsters approaching Lowee, described to be large enough to destroy a neighoring city by Financier (and also level it). After C-Sha, Rom, and Ram joined her, they cleaned up the rest and defeated the entire monster horde. Blanc would later go on to defeat C-Sha (possessed by Kurome) with Rom and Ram in the final fight of her story[24]. Stated to have taught E-Force Blizzard to Rom and Ram, and she is seemingly knowledgeable of some martial arts, as Satellabute's description states that it's an attack based in taijutsu, which is a form of martial arts. More experienced than her younger sisters due to being older and in combat for more time. She and Green Heart were able to defeat at least fifty of the Goddess clones created by Rei[10], which are stated to have comparable or superior battle prowess to the real versions[34]. Whilst Blanc was corrupted, she was able to fight against the party of VII alongside the other corrupted Goddesses up to that point, which was comprised of 12 members. Most of the party consists of skilled fighters who have shown to be able to outclass or match each other in combat, such as K-Sha (a dexterous and competent military combatant who participated in and has been trained by the Order ever since she was a child[39]), Nepgear (who has shown to be similarly proficient in combat as Neptune, being able to defeat other Goddesses such as Uni and Rom and Ram[21], as well as defeat CFW Magic twice over[5][25], whom could easily defeat the four Guardian Goddesses[33] as well as an entire party (which consists of characters such as MarvelousAQL and Hyper Dimension Falcom) with little to no effort[5]), C-Sha (a true martial artist who was able to take on Blanc and eventually win[4], as well as Rom and Ram, fighting the latter two at the same time[11]), the Ultra Dimension Neptune (a proficient swordfighter who was capable of battling against both Nepgear and Vert without putting in too much effort, being there simply to stall the two[40]), Uzume (a naturally talented fighter, demonstrating implicitly comparable dexterity and battle prowess to Neptune, alongside being able to frequently clash with and consistently live against the Dark Goddess[3] and routinely fending off the monsters of Zero Dimension for several years, being Zero Dimension's only proper fighter[3], with a concept established as early as mk2 that fighting with raw power alone is an unviable fighting strategy in real combat[41]), and more. It's highly probable that each Goddess fought more than one character at a time[11].
In Sisters VS Sisters, she has shown the capability to defeat the "Mecha Doll", "Mecha Peacekeeper", and "Battle Goddess" enemies, where they are mentioned to have the battle data of a Goddess installed in them[42], have both the battle data and greater mobility through their wings[43], or are stated to have both the battle data and is "the ultimate autonomous soldier which passed all tests with flying colors"[44]. Additionally, these Mecha enemies have even shown the same exact fighting style as the Goddess they imitate due to sharing the same motions of attacks as the Goddesses they imitate. This would include the likes of herself, Noire, Neptune, and all of the other Goddesses given there are multiple Mecha Doll, Peacekeeper, and Goddess entities; one such example is the "Mecha Doll PN-NG" enemy, with the "PN-NG" standing for "Planeptune-Nepgear", meaning that the specified Mecha Doll has the battle data and combat style of Nepgear. Blanc has demonstrated the ability to defeat multiple of these Mecha enemies at once on their own, such as in the Arena, where several fights contain these enemies in batches or lonesome, up to a maximum of 6 enemies, with one such fight containing two Battle Goddesses, which would realistically show more combat proficiency and skill than the standard Mecha Dolls and Mecha Peacekeepers as a result of them "[passing] all tests with flying colors"[26])
Weaknesses: Blanc is a very hot-headed person. Her anger can easily take over her sanity just by some little things such as the issue of the size of her breasts. Her Share Energy is able to be cancelled out with large amounts of Negative Energy.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Hard Drive Divinity (HDD): Utilizing a sufficient level of power gained from the faith of her people, Blanc can transform into White Heart in order to enjoy higher overall stats.
- Next Form: Whilst already in Hard Drive Divinity, and utilizing the power of the Hyper Share Crystal, Blanc can transform into an "evolved" version of their HDD form. It has been stated that no other HDD form in existence has come even close to this level of power.
