Black Battler Again.png
Those merciless people will gather one after the other, and create forgeries like us... Do you understand? Even if "you" don't write any more about us, we continue to live. Are you watching, Tohya? Try to stop me soon. Try to stop this farce!!
~ Black Battler addressing Tohya at the end of Forgery no.XXX

Summary

This version of Battler Ushiromiya is a being born from all the theories that Battler and his family are the true culprits of Rokkenjima's Mass Murder Incident. An ugly reflection of Battler that was shown to Ange Ushiromiya during the Bern's game to finally break her.

Powers and Stats

Tier: High 1-C

Name: Battler Ushiromiya, Black Battler

Origin: Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Gender: Male.

Age: 18. Though he exists beyond the concept of time in his Meta-World incarnation.

Classification: Embodiment of the 'Battler Culprit' Theory, Higher-Order Being

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Higher-Dimensional Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Magic, Reality Warping, Abstract Existence (Type 1), Large Size (Type 10), Higher-Dimensional Existence, Incorporeality, Invulnerability and Power Nullification with Endless Nine, Immortality (Types 1, 2, and 3), Regeneration (High-Godly. Even if the entirety of his existence is completely erased and lost to the Sea of Nothingness beyond all layers and stories, he can regain his form just by thinking), Self-Sustenance (1, 2 and 3), Teleportation, Dimensional Travel (Can willfully manifest in various layers of existence, both higher and lower, adapting his own existence to the atmospheric pressure of higher worlds), Spatial Manipulation, Quantum Manipulation (Should be capable of using the "Multiplanar World Collapsation" technique that his normal self used), Fate Manipulation, Void Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation and Plot Manipulation (Can physically interact with and manipulate kakera, which are crystallizations of lower worlds that record and contain infinite possibilities, as well as their fate and plot, encompassing even spiritual/mental realms and those devoid of space and time entirely), Reactive Evolution and Adaptation, Cosmic Awareness (Can look into infinite possibilities by touching kakera), Shapeshifting, Causality Manipulation (Controls the flow of cause and effect in the world of pieces, seeing its denizens as pawns on a game board and events as chess moves), Conceptual Manipulation (Type 1. Can manipulate the concepts of the Human Domain, which are visualized as physical objects on his level of existence, and can create several concepts on the level of a higher-order world, such as gravity, out of his thoughts), Nonexistent Physiology (Type 2. Exists as an entity of nothingness at the core of his being, with his physical form being constructed and defined solely by his thoughts), Resurrection (Can easily return from death by regaining his interest and will to live, as the concept of time does not exist in the higher domains. Resurrected after being killed by the Red Key, which negates the concept of revivals), 4th Wall Awareness, Light Manipulation, Non-Physical Interaction, Fusionism, Avatar Creation, Acausality (Type 5. Exists completely outside of the chessboard and is unrestrained by the limitations of the Human Domain, including that of fate, time and causality), Blue and Purple Truths, Resistance to Void Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation and Conceptual Manipulation (Meta-World beings are defined by their thoughts as a conceptualized form and are able to resist conceptual attacks on their identity to a degree)

Attack Potency: High Complex Multiverse level (Exists in the Golden Land, the highest and most impenetrable part of the game board, existing above Purgatorio which is a higher realm of existence from which the entire Human Domain is regarded as fiction and its inhabitants are seen as pieces laid on a chessboard, their fates and lives merely small fragments which can be manipulated and physically interacted with even by normal humans inhabiting this perspective. This includes structures such as the Underside of the Chessboard, a void of nothingness completely lacking space and time which resides "nowhere" in relation to the entire world of the pieces)

Speed: Immeasurable (Freed from all of the material world's restrictions, and transcends even realms devoid of space and time entirely such as Gaap's Abyss)

Lifting Strength: Immeasurable (Exists in a higher dimension where three-dimensional concepts of size and mass are irrelevant, with entire worlds which themselves contain higher-dimensional structures being just fiction contained in small fragments to him, and the human world as a whole nothing but a chessboard)

Striking Strength: High Complex Multiversal

Durability: High Complex Multiverse level. Hyperverse level against Supernatural Attacks with Endless Nine (Should be comparable to Battler's)

Stamina: Inhexaustible.

Range: High Complex Multiversal

Standard Equipment: None notable

Intelligence: Black Battler possesses an intellect comparable to that of his original self, an avid reader and a master of mysteries, but rather than put this to more benevolent uses, he utilizes it to engineer as much mayhem as possible and perpetuate his existence. Despite his deranged behavior and sadistic personality, he's capable of expertly acting like the regular Battler for long periods of time, playing nice in order to lure his targets into a false sense of complacency.

Weaknesses: None Notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Truths: Special moves utilized in debates between Witches and Humans taking place in the Meta-World, being statements denoted by specific colors which often manifest as conceptual weapons that directly target the enemy's very existence in an attempt to deny it, and are thus impossible to physically avoid, forcing opponents to counter the attacker's arguments with another truth. As the damage dealt by the Truths is conceptual, rather than strictly physical, they completely bypass conventional durability and allow Battler to skewer and even kill opponents much more powerful than himself, such as Beatrice

    • Blue Truth: A theoretical scenario made with the purpose of directly denying the enemy's arguments and existence, whose true validity is unclear but nonetheless takes precedence over any statements spoken in basic white text, while being inferior to the Red Truth. It normally assumes the form of several stakes which skewer and impale opponents, damaging them on a conceptual level and being impossible to remove unless their falsehood is directly declared with the Red Truth; otherwise, that which is spoken in blue will be asserted as the truth and grant victory to the attacker, while erasing their opponent's concept entirely.
    • Purple Truth: A new Truth introduced by Bernkastel for her game. This Truth has power comparable to the Red Truth in that all words spoken in this color are deemed automatically true without any evidence or proof to support it. However, unlike the Red Truth there is a special caveat in that the killer is capable of lying in it. Since Black Battler is deemed the killer of Bernkastel's game, he is capable of lying with the Purple Truth without any consequences.

Endless Nine: An impenetrable barrier woven together by Battler's complete denial of the existence of witches and magic, and his firm belief that they are nothing but illusions and daydreams, which grants him an absurdly high anti-magic resistance (99.99999999...) and makes him completely immune to any supernatural effects directed at himself, or any attacks coming from beings whose existence he denies, even those as powerful as the Game Master and Featherine's Overlord Cats, whose magic created and destroyed entire universes in the City of Books. This ability can extend to Truths that he does not believe in, thus denying them from even affecting him. Likewise, it also allows him to easily bypass magical barriers and forcefields, as well as tear apart through supernatural entities as if they were cardboard.
