Powers and Abilities:
- Plot Manipulation (Beyond is the literal author of JORGE JOESTAR who views the world as a story and elects characters to be the protagonists of said story.[1] If the characters believe in Beyond and understand that Beyond is an author who is writing a story with them as the main character, Beyond will have the plot and narrative flow to their benefit, such as how Jorge believing in Beyond had Tsukumojuku save Jorge from death[2] and solve the Passione mystery[3] as well as Dio believing he's the king of the world that rules everything and has been promised the final victory by Beyond, referring to it as a 'fixed truth'. Joji also reiterates this feeling of confidence and victory from believing in Beyond[4] The characters also have to act the part and play their role in the story in order to get the narrative going their way.[3] Beyond also uses literal plot devices such as Tsukumojuku in order to send characters to where they need to be in the story despite Tsukumojuku being dead from the opening chapter[5][6])
- Fate Manipulation (All the protagonists who believe in Beyond will overcome their fates.[1] If they believe in Beyond, they won't die. But if they can't put their faith in Beyond then it'll be fated for them to brutally murdered by something terrifying.[2] Tsukumojuku described his role as a detective as one that was destined to always arrive at the truth at the end.[1] Made the sun rise at just the right time to burn Dio's body and save Jorge from death[3])
- Probability Manipulation and Supernatural Luck (Those who believe in Beyond will always succeed and always reach the truth without any mistakes in the end, even though guaranteed success should be completely impossible. Everything goes their way, and they know it will.[1] They are able to solve difficult cases and problems that no one else can. Find clues in books that they just so happened to be reading. Have ideas triggered by a conversation they happened to have with a complete stranger. Have criminals who are close to getting away suddenly make boneheaded mistakes[7])
- Beyond-Dimensional Existence (Type 2)
- Abstract Existence (Type 1, Beyond is the important, inflexible law that defines the world; giving everything in the world meaning and nothing is out of place[6])
- Law Manipulation (The very rules of the world shift to the genre of Beyond's protagonists the moment they get involved[8])
- Omnipresence
- Transduality (Type 2, Beyond is both everywhere and defines the world[6] yet simultaneously not of,[2] outside,[1] and transcends the world,[9] viewing everything within it as merely a story; said story containing both space, parallel worlds and history[4] and void worlds lacking the existence of both life and death[4] where there is 'no where to go and no way of getting there' and 'a place both connected to nothing and nowhere'[3])
- Shadow Manipulation (His face is always hidden by a shadow that is unaffected by the direction of the sun[4])
- Avatar Creation
Miracles - Beyond will often perform 'miracles' for the protagonists in order to aid them. These 'miracles' comes in a variety of different forms, which include:
- Time Travel, Dimensional Travel and Teleportation (When Jorge believes in Beyond, Tsukumojuku is used to teleport him to Lisa Lisa in Rome.[10] Later on, Jorge is teleported to Morioh in the 37th universe in 2012 to help solve the Passione mystery via Tsukumojuku using the Cube House, all of which was made possible by Beyond.[2][3][4] Joji is also teleported to the H.G. Wells Spaceship that is orbiting Mars to meet Kars[5])
- Power Bestowal (Made it so that Jorge was able to separate his soul from his body so that he wouldn't feel the pain of Kira's torture and save him from death.[4] Jorge also implies that Dio convincing himself that he could understand and divide souls was made possible by Beyond, which allowed Dio to cut his own soul in half and place it in Giorno's body, which transfigured Giorno into Dio's body double[3])
- Biological Manipulation (Creates a miracle in which Lucy Steel gets pregnant with the supplemental head of the Holy Man[4])
- Transformation and Body Control (Instantly made Diavolo revert into Giorno in order to protect Jorge[3])
Attack Potency: Outerverse level (Described as an All-Powerful, Omnipotent God through Tsukumojuku, the name of God,[10][2] Beyond is the literal author of the world of JORGE JOESTAR and all of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure itself. Beyond views the world of JoJo's as nothing more than a story, being called an author and a mystery novelist who is writing said story.[1][7][2][3] Beyond is also liken to Arthur Conan Doyle where the main protagonists are self-described as Sherlock Holmes; a fictional device whose role is destined to always arrive at the truth.[1] Beyond controls the protagonists in a reality that transcends the very world of JoJos,[9] is the God of the world that made said world for his protagonists[1] as well as the important, inflexible law that defines the world, granting 'meaning' to everything.[6] Through the name of God, three All-Powerful Gods are linked together by 2 crosses. If God is the Trinity, then God can be split into three. All three Beyonds that accompany Jorge, Joji and Dio are in fact one as The Trinity[10][4])
Speed: Omnipresent (God is everywhere. God is The Word. The Word has meaning. Thus, everything in this world has meaning. The important, inflexible law that defines the world itself; granting everything meaning, and nothing is out of place.[6] Could accompany his protagonists simultaneously despite them being 36 universes and 10,000,000,000,000,000 years apart[10][6][4])
Lifting Strength: Immeasurable (Views all dimensional objects, including the Cube House; a 4-Dimensional,[9] infinitely expanding,[11] universal sized[5] tesseract with its own space-time,[3] as merely fictitious)
Striking Strength: Outerversal Class
Durability: Outerverse level
Stamina: Unknown
Range: Outerversal Range
Standard Equipment: Not Applicable
Intelligence: Unknown, possibly Omniscient (Given how Beyond is the author of JORGE JOESTAR and writes everything that goes on in the story, Beyond should realistically know about everything that is in the story)
Weaknesses: None notable for itself. The protagonists (Jorge, Joji and Dio) will only receive Beyond's benefit if they believe in Beyond.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Narrative Flow: As the author, Beyond can freely control and manipulate the plot and narrative flow however they desire. This is most typically used for helping out Beyond's protagonists throughout their journeys. If the protagonists believe in Beyond, their adventures will be without compare and they will overcome whatever destiny may befall them. Their journeys may be full of hardships, complexities and an overall struggle, but Beyond will always have them emerge victorious at the end of the story, no matter what. Whilst Beyond will never fight on behalf of the protagonists, Beyond will cause Deus Ex Machinas to occur, cause literal plot devices to show up to aid the protagonists and create scenarios and events that completely defy the logic and reasoning established in the world, all to assure their eventual victory.
- Miracles: Throughout the story, Beyond will also cause 'miracles' to occur in order to help the protagonists in variety of ways when they come to a crossroads or face difficulties. If the protagonists are required somewhere else in the story in order to help somebody in need, escape a dangerous situation or to fulfill their role, a miracle will occur to take them to their destination without explanation. If the protagonists are having trouble with a problem, whether that be with investigating a difficult case or needing to bring about a grand plan together, miracles will happen to give them clues on how to advance or to manipulate previous and current events, even those deemed impossible, to make everything work out. Even if the protagonists are facing certain death, miracles will always occur to ultimately save them from their peril.
