This is a proclamation, directed into the Dukis Protected Zone of the New Bavakh Empire. I am Emperor Corybantes XXV, presiding.

For thousands of years, the Empire has refused to enter this place of damnation. We were told by our great ancestor, Proconsul Corybantes I, that to enter this system was to enter death. We were told that the destroyer- that the Great Morning Star- resided here at the graveworld of Dukis.

We do not believe in myths, as a rule. But we have watched our ships die mysteriously on even simple jaunts through this territory. And we have looked into the Path, sometimes, using my great ancestor's technology. We have seen terrifying things develop in recent years- vortexes, irregularities in the path, and sometimes even worse things. Path beings- angels of death, swooping around hyperspace conduits. Your domain- whomever you are in there- has begun to resemble a kind of Hell.

So we will choose to believe in the myth to protect our Empire. We are sending our fleets into the Protected Zone, towards Dukis itself. In our mythology, Dukis is the Devil's home. Burn the Devil's home- and destroy the Devil.

At any point, you may give up your pointless defense, if you choose. But we are coming, regardless.

We are coming to kill you.

Summary

The Bavakh Empire, later christened New Bavakh Empire after its temporary assimilation at the hands of the Theocracy of Oss, is an alien civilization spanning multiple galaxies. Usually a war-mongering race, the Bavakh are known for their prowess in biological craftmanship, engineering all of their weaponry and vehicles out of organic matter.

Powers and Stats

Tier: Up to High 6-A with ships, 5-B with weaponry

Civilization Type: At least Galactic Civilization, possibly Intergalactic Civilization (The Bavakh control one galaxy at the beginning of Immortal Legend, and have taken over at least another by the end of it)

Name: Bavakh Empire, later New Bavakh Empire after a period of assimilation into the Theocracy of Oss

Origin: Immortal Defense

Classification: Empire

Kardashev Level: Likely Type III (The Bavakh control at least two galaxies)

Age: Millennia, though through various reformations and a period of slavery to the Theocracy of Oss

Population: A population of one hundred trillion people is considered puny compared to an early Bavakh Empire

Territory: The Bavakh control one galaxy and are seeking to expand into another, achieving this by the end of Immortal Defense, and likely controlling more as well.

Technology/Abilities: Dimensional Travel and limited Physics Manipulation (Ships in Immortal Defense cross inter-star system distances by entering hyperspace, a higher dimension that allows them to bridge great lengths rapidly and ignore relativity. Garland ships are capable of even performing limited movement through pathspace, which is even higher than hyperspace), Flight, Biological Manipulation and Cyborgization (The Brothers Bavakh grew to gigantic sizes because of genetic and cybernetic modifications, which are customary among the Bavakh, to the point that all of their spaceships are organic), Duplication (Bavakh reproduce via cloning), Necromancy and Life Manipulation (Built Coarse and Noyaties 19 ships, which are made of life energy), Accelerated Development (Bavakh ships become more durable the more of their allies die. Squalid-class ships' defense increases as they're hit), Regeneration (Mid-Low. Squalid-class ships regenerate HP), Power Nullification (Shrigg-class ships shoot anti-defender bullets that eliminate enemy shots), Attack Reflection (X Centripetal ships draw bullets towards them, while O Centrifugal ships push them away), Statistics Amplification (Zig Engines give nearby ships a boost in speed), Forcefield Creation and Healing (Dark Shields and Dark Armors protect nearby ships with forcefields while also healing them. Nightmares surround them with defensive energy), Energy Projection and Danmaku (The Panopticon shrouds a cloud of energy "eyes" that protect it), Incorporeality, Absorption and Size Manipulation (Noyaties 19, which are made of life energy, absorb energy fired into them and use it to grow to greater sizes), Paralysis Inducement (Coarse can freeze and disable nearby foes), Teleportation (Garland ships are capable of effectively teleporting along their hyperspace paths), Intangibility (:P ships are unaffected by attacks for most of the time), Extrasensory Perception (Capable of tracking the state of pathspace), Explosion Manipulation and Radiation Manipulation (The Bavakh Empire has produced planet-killer bombs that poison the atmosphere with radiation and blast them with enough force to tear them apart), Longevity (Path machines can be used to prolong one's lifespan)

Attack Potency: Up to at least Multi-Continent level with ships (The Panopticon, which the New Bavakh Empire was capable of replicating en masse, would have wiped out the entirety of the population of Oss with its presence alone), Planet level with planet-killer bombs (The Bavakh Empire has produced planet-killer bombs that poison the atmosphere with radiation and blast them with enough force to tear them apart)

Power Source: Unknown

Industrial Capacity: Any assault from the Bavakh Army involves hundreds of spaceships,

Military Prowess: Single assaults from the Bavakh Army involve millions of soldiers

Notable Individuals: See here

  • Brothers Bavakh: A duo of generals leading the Bavakh Empire, commonly assumed to have been military heroes earlier in Bavakh history. Grown to gigantic sizes due to experiments with genetic and cybernetic modifications.
  • Proconsul Corybantes I: A low-ranking Bavakh born while the Empire was subjugated by the Theocracy of Oss. Incredibly clever engineer and leader, he successfully gains back the Empire through a revolution and leads it into a time of prosperity and peace.

Weaknesses: Reliant on cloning for procreation
