"A humanoid animatronic that wears a red-and-blue striped shirt and a propeller beanie. He carries a balloon as well as a sign that reads BALLOONS! He often calls out "Hello?" and "Hi!" and sometimes giggles. In several games, Balloon Boy doesn't kill you, but he does disable your defenses, which can leave you completely helpless."
~ Five Nights at Freddys: The Ultimate Guide[1]

Summary

Balloon Boy is one of the antagonists of Five Nights at Freddy's 2.[2] Balloon Boy is one of the three human-esque animatronics in the Toy series, alongside The Puppet and his female counterpart, JJ. Rather than attack the nightguard like his peers, Balloon Boy prefers to disable their flashlight, leaving them vulnerable to the other animatronics, the most infamous of which being Foxy[2] Despite being created to apprehend criminals, the Toy animatronics would become inexplicably hostile towards all adults, innocent or guilty. While the cause for this change was unknown, it is strongly suggested that the Toys changed from witnessing William Afton kill five children that would come to possess them.[2]
