Summary

Azel is a character in God Hand, and Gene's rival. Once part of the clan that guarded the legendary God Hands, Azel killed all of them, hungry for the power that those God Hands could give him. After taking one of them, he joins the Four Devas, a group of demons who seeks to summon the Demon King Angra to rule over the Earth.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Martial Arts (Equal in skill to Gene), Limited Extrasensory Perception (Could "feel" Gene's God Hand), Genius Intelligence (In combat only), Acrobatics (Can easily execute multiple attacks in the duration of a small hop, quickly backflip to dodge attacks and rapidly leap several meters in the air), Curse Manipulation and Forcefield Creation (Can create demonic barriers able to block doors from being opened), BFR (Should be able to launch opponents so far they're reduced to a twinkle in the sky since he has the same God Hand as Gene), Berserk Mode (When taunted, he will be temporarily enraged, hitting harder and behaving more aggressively. He will sometimes enter this state while he's being juggled, immediately breaking out of the combo), Mind Manipulation (Mind-controlled Olivia), Status Effect Inducement (Can put Gene in a stunned state by hitting them enough times), Explosion Manipulation (With Daisy Cutter and La Bomba), Energy Projection (With various God Hand techniques), Vibration Manipulation (Can cause shockwaves with La Bomba), Fire Manipulation (With Devil Kung Fu Tango), Statistics Amplification (By unleashing his God Hand, Azel can greatly increase his power and speed for a short amount of time with Unleashed Mode or greatly power up a single attack by using a Roulette Wheel move. He can also increase the strength of his moves by charging them or using his chi), Chi Manipulation (Can imbue various attacks with his chi, giving them more power), Summoning (Azel is able to summon the Demon King Angra, and can summon him if he wishes, unaware that he is the sacrifice)

Attack Potency: Large Building level+ (Comparable to a late game Gene), City Block level by releasing the Devil Hand's power (Unleashing the Devil Hand multiplies the user's power by 1.5x)

Speed: Supersonic+ (Equal to Gene, who can punch cannonballs at this speed and is able to dodge missiles and arrows), higher by releasing the Devil Hand's power (Comparable to Gene's released God Hand speed. Much faster in Unleashed Mode, to the point that he can dodge almost every single attack from Gene, who's otherwise comparable to him)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 25 (Could rip off his own God Hand. Ripping off a normal arm is this strong, and the God Hand should be much more durable)

Striking Strength: Large Building level+, City Block level by releasing the Devil Hand's power

Durability: Large Building level+ (Can fight Gene, who is exactly as strong as him, and survive his attacks, even when he unleashes the God Hand), City Block level by releasing the Devil Hand's power (Likely comparable to his own attack potency)

Stamina: Peak Human. Can get back up and fight right after being pummeled or tossed around by Gene, although the latter could outlast him in the end.

Range: Standard melee range, extended melee range with certain techniques, tens of meters with powers

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

• Roulette Wheel: Known as the GOD REEL in the Japanese version of the game, the Roulette Wheel is used to select attacks focused around the God Hand's abilities.
  • Devil Shockwave: Azel pulls his arm back then throws a blade of energy forward.
  • Devil Ball Buster: Azel kicks his enemy in the groin, stunning them.
  • Devil La Bomba: Azel slams his fist into the ground, creating a fiery explosion.
  • Devil Head Slicer: Azel preforms a small twirl, then launches a wide energy wave at the enemy.
  • Devil Divine Smash: Azel gets into a crouching stance, then preforms a powerful charging punch.
  • Devil Kung Fu Tango Azel will preform his own variation of Gene's Kung Fu Tango, but imbued with fire.
  • Devil Shaolin Blast Azel fires an infernal, large hand-shaped blast. One of his most powerful attacks.
  • Devil Pummel Azel rushes towards his enemy with his arms in front of him, and on contact, will proceed to unleash either a series of rapid punches or equally rapid side kicks. If this isn't countered, he will finish with a much more powerful punch/kick.
  • Devil Daisy Cutter: An elbow strike that causes an explosion to hit the targets.
  • Devil Hand Unleash: The Tattoos on on Azel's God Hand will begin to glow, as he unleashes the power of the God Hand. In this state, he will become much faster and stronger, dodging almost all attacks thrown at him.
• Techniques: Various martial arts techniques learned by Azel.
  • Sugar Azel Combo: Azel does a rapid three hit combo of punches, the first one with his left hand, and the second and third strikes with his right.

  • Expert Sobat: Azel does a half jumping spin and hits the opponents with a side kick while his back is facing them. Can launch enemies.
