~ Arthur to Firebrand |
Summary
Sir Arthur is a protagonist from the Marvel vs. Capcom series. He is a legendary knight who ventured bravely into the demon world to rescue Princess Prin Prin/Guinevere, who was kidnapped by the evil fiends such as Satan and Astaroth for being the last living human with royal blood in Arthur's land. While best known for his dauntless courage in the face of terrifying monsters and life-threatening traps, Arthur also enjoys wearing strawberry-print boxer shorts and never fails to save his beloved princess all thanks to his pure devotion to her, being fearless in the face of evil and never running from a righteous cause, being declared a beacon of light and hope to all of his land's inhabitants.
He is one of the many heroes who assisted in the battle against Onslaught when Charles Xavier unconsciously summoned forth several heroes from Capcom's Universe, later fought alongside others to aid in the battle against Galactus, and joined the resistance to fight against Ultron-Sigma to stop him from merging the Marvel and Capcom universes.

- Hellbound Slash: After performing the Heavenly Slash, Arthur quickly slams the opponent back onto the ground by swinging his sword vertically downwards.

- Golden Armor: Arthur raises his hands into the air as he envelops himself in a light aura to transform with the Emperor Armor, temporarily increasing his attack damage and defense for 20 seconds. After this, the armor will suddenly break down and send Arthur flying backwards, leaving him to fight on his boxers with reduced defense. He can use the Hyper Combo again to restore his silver armor.

During this Hyper Combo, Arthur is completely invulnerable.
