Out of all the Everchosen of Chaos who have assailed the world over the ages, Archaon is by far the most ruthless and the most powerful. He is an individual that shall decide the fate of entire nations, whose sword can lay waste to heroes and armies and whose unbreakable will can break and dominate those of Gods. Archaon is truly the Herald of the Apocalypse, blessed with dreadful artifacts of ancient evil, each one bestowed as a reward for accomplishing impossible trials. Archaon set forth upon the World as the Herald of the Apocalypse, a warrior who did the unthinkable and succeeded where hundreds of other Champions of Chaos had failed. In the climax of the End Times, Archaon had battled the God-King Sigmar and brought about the final end of the World that Was…

Attack Potency: Large Island level (During his final quest, he was able to strangle to death a Bloodthirster[28]) | Large Star level (Comparable to the Incarnates although weaker then Grimgor[18]. The Incarnates are able to contain an entire Wind of Magic inside of them, Azyr Mages using this power can move Stars and the most powerful Mages like Caledor Dragontamer to create things like the Great Vortex which is powered by the energy of multiple Stars[31]), possibly Universe level+ (Archaon and Sigmar survived the Chaos Rift which destroyed the Universe[18]. The Winds of Magic contain enough energy to create individual spacetimes[32]. Leading to the cyclical nature of the Multiverse[33]), higher with U'Zuhl (Defeated Grimgor Ironhide once he unleashed U'Zuhl[18]. to trade blows with Sigmar[18])
Speed: Supersonic (Are comparable to Vampires who can outrun musket fire[34]), Massively Hypersonic Reaction speed (Mages can react to each others spells with dispels and counter wards, like ones from Azyr made of real Lightning) | Same as before plus Massively Hypersonic with Dorghar in travel form[20], varies from Massively Hypersonic to Speed of Light attack speed with Magic.
Lifting Strength: Class M (Should scale above Saurus Leaders and Warriors, who are able to crush rocks and steel), likelyClass T (Greater Daemons scale to rituals, and thus scale in strength to mage lifting towers, Archaon has fought Exalted Greater Daemons, who are superior to this) | Class T (able to lift the claw/toe of Krakanrok the Black who, while half-buried in the ground, was bigger than the largest mountains in the world[24])
Striking Strength: Large Island level | Planet level
Durability: Large Island level (Fought took hits from a Bloodthirster) Higher with Warpstone Skeleton (During his final quest, his Warpstone skeleton survived attacks that completely destroyed his body[7]) | Large Star level, possibly Universe+ level (Able to take hits from Bloodlusted Sigmar who one shotted Kha Bhanda, who by himself was taking on the other Incarnates[18]), Higher with Warpstone Skeleton (During his last trial, his armour/flesh where destroyed, leaving him as just his Warpstone Skeleton). Lower with the Eye of Sheerian (Grimgor was able to destroy this with a headbut and said headbut didn't do any damage to him[18])
Stamina: Superhuman During his search for the Treasures of Chaos, Archaon almost never stopped. Has spent two centuries in almost constant combat. Even when completely drained of all stamina Archaon can continue on just willpower alone. Can endure 'Pain beyond flesh'[17])
Range: Standard Melee Range | Standard Melee range with Slayer of Kings, at least Kilometres with Auras (Archaons aura affects his entire army that stretches across the horizon), even higher with magic/The Eye of Sheerian (Created a tear in reality into the Realm of Chaos inside Naieth from thousands of kilometres away)
Standard Equipment: Terminus, plate armour | The 6 Treasures of Chaos: The Slayer of Kings, The Eye of Sheerian, The Crown of Domination, The Armour of Morkar, Dorghar the Steed of the Apocalypse, 3 Jars of plague gifted to him by Nurgle himself.
Intelligence: Likely Extroadinary Genius. In his previous life as Diederick Kastner, he was an accomplished scholar. Planned and executed an infiltration of the most secure church in the empire. Can seemingly out plan/surprise a lord of change who can see infinite futures/possibilities. Is surprisingly careful, planned his confrontation with Belakor for years if not decades in advance who was altering his destiny/fate directly and could observe Archaon whenever he wanted. Is incredibly gifted in combat, considered unbeatable in a duel. Possesses an immense knowledge of different styles of combat/use of multiple types of weapons. He is seemingly able to outplan Gods and extroadinarily powerful entities and Daemons.
Weaknesses: Due to the trauma of losing his previous life he can become irrational when provoked regarding Sigmar. The Eye of Sheerian has lower durability then Archaon himself. Occasionally will underestimate his opponent such as Grimgor due to his beastly appearance.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Terminus: The Holy Greatsword inherited from his adoptive father Siuer Kastner. Glows with a supernatural flame and is particularly effective against evil beings and those blessed by the Chaos Gods. Diedrick gave up this sword once he located the Slayer of Kings.
Aethyr Manipulation: Due to his Mark of Tzeentch, Archaon is as skilled a spell caster as the greatest of the age. Can utilise the Lores of Dhar, Death, Fire, Metal, Shadow, Universal Chaos, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh, Petty and Battle magic respectively.

The Mark of the Chaos Undivided: Archaon was rewarded with this for locating the Altar of Ultimate Darkness. He fought through a literal sea of Chaos Spawn while completely stripped of his armour and weaponry. Obliterating them with his hands, feet, elbows and knees. Provides Archaon with the blessings of the Four Chaos Gods.
The Blessing of Khorne provides additional magical resistance. The Blessing of Nurgle causes Archaon to emit an invisible cloud of corrupt spoiling magic, a miasma of power that is invisible except to another wizard and nullifies attempts at magic in a large area. The Blessing of Tzeentch provides Archaon with his magical prowess, due to these abilities which normally nullify magic do not work on him as his magical power is granted by Tzeentch. The Blessing of Slaanesh provides an aura of charm and empathy so strong that no foes will cast spells at him or attack him.
Armour of Morkar: Armour worn by the first of the Everchosen, Archaon tore it from the grips of the spirit of Morkar himself. This chaos forged plate armour shields him from all but the greatest of blows, while powerful enchantments etched into the armour ensure it is nigh-invulnerable to the magics of his enemy, even passing on these enchantments to his flesh underneath for perfect protection even without the armour itself.
The evil within the plates warp and twist reality around the Herald of the Apocalypse, swords bend, arrows are deflected and even magic falters in its presence, as all attacks no matter how great lose strength when striking him. Alongside the armour itself, he has also claimed the Runeshield of Morkar, blessed by the four ruinous powers, it is nearly as durable as the armour itself.
Eye of Sheerian: This powerful Tzeenchian artifact that radiates magical power. Archaon acquired this treasure by cutting it from the belly of the legendary Chaos Dragon, Flamefang. Through its use, it allows it's user to peer into the vast and twisting skein of possibilities, scan entire continents in moments, see any and all actions his opponent may utilize before they have even thought of them, see years into both the past and present, provide insightful visions and useful knowledge and alert him to hidden threats while also protecting him from scrying and other forms of information gathering. This allows him to always have an upper hand over his enemies, creating perfect battle strategies and never wasting a single second in battle.
What's more, as a magical focus, it provides plentiful other useful abilities including generating blinding lights, a hypnotic presence, and the power to manipulate the raw energies of magic itself, boosting his sorcerous powers, causing any effect of harmful magic to be utterly nullified and enchanted weapons to be stripped of their enchantments as they come near him.

Slayer of Kings: The mighty Daemonblade of the Everchosen. Archaon claimed this treasure from under the claw of the truly enormous Dragon Ogre Krakanrok the Black who is far larger than a mountain. It is inhabited by a Greater Daemon named U'zuhl the Skulltaker who's vitality Archaon can temporarily add to his own, vastly increasing his strength/speed and restores his stamina.
It will instantly incinerate and consume or possess the soul of anyone other than the Everchosen who attempt to wield it or are impaled upon it. Its edge can cut almost any type of weapon/armour and this extends to more esoteric things like spirits/energy. He will often wreath it in Daemonic Hellfire.
Crown of Domination: This mighty crown exudes an aura of raw malice and fear. It simultaneously manipulates the willpower of Archaon's millions of followers, allowing them to form a coherent fighting unit which would normally be impossible for such a large army of followers of Chaos due to infighting. It also unlocks the true potential of the Eye of Sheerian when placed into the socket left for it inside the unholy crown. Archaon received this treasure after passing tests from the four chaos gods themselves.
Nurgle sent his most virulent plagues and even when reduced to a shambling mass of bones he still kept going. Slaanesh sent it's most tempting consorts to no avail. Tzeentch made him traverse a crystal labyrinth which would be extremely difficult for even a Greater Daemon but Archaon merely blindfolded himself and trusted his own instincts. Finally, Khorne simply made him fight a Bloodthirster directly who he strangled with its own whip. With this last treasure, he could be crowned the Everchosen and bringer of the Apocalypse.Notable Matchups
