The Aqua Droid was a model of advanced amphibious battle droid manufactured by the Techno Union for the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They were used throughout the Clone Wars by the CIS in theatres where aquatic/amphibious combat would be common. They most notably played prominent roles in the separatist invasions of Kamino and Mon Cala.

Attack Potency: Wall level with physical strikes (Can damage transparisteel bubbles tough enough to withstand underwater pressures at depths of multiple kilometres. Stronger than ARC Troopers. Capable of harming members of the Mon Calamari Guard and the likes of Lee-Char, who are durable enough to keep standing even after being hurled into a solid stone wall with enough force to make a small crater in said wall). Small Building level with laser cannon (Larger and more powerful than the blasters mounted on the arms of the standard B2 Super Battle Droid and the heavy blaster rifles preferred by ARC Troopers)

Speed: Normal Human level on land, Superhuman swimming speed underwater

Lifting Strength: Superhuman to an unknown degree

Striking Strength: Wall Class

Durability: Wall level against physical strikes (Their bodies are built to withstand high underwater pressures at depths of multiple kilometres. Unscathed from being rammed by a Quarren Turbo Sled at full speed. Overall at least as durable as elite Mon Calamari warriors such as Gial Ackbar) and at least Small Building level against directed energy weapons (Armour plating includes composite material capable of dispersing the energy of numerous blaster bolt hits before failing)

Stamina: Depends on charge. As long as their batteries have charge, they can continue fighting.

Range: Extended melee range with physical strikes due to the sheer size of their arms, hundreds of metres with laser cannon.

Standard Equipment: Retractable laser cannon built into right arm.

Intelligence: Below average. No more intelligent than the B2 line, programmed to just obey orders and they do have a “shoot it until it stops moving” mentality, they also lack any sort of tactical acumen and just blindly charge at enemies.


  • Slow and cumbersome on land.
  • If their battery charge runs out, they’ll just shut down.
  • A single well placed blaster shot to their photoreceptor and one spot along their spine can cripple them.
