Ever since I can remember, I wanted to be somebody. Somebody special.
~ Ao speaking about her desire to be special.

Summary

Ao Hoshizaki is the main protagonist of Blue Reflection: Second Light. She initially lives a dull and ordinary life, until one fateful summer day, where she gets transported to the mysterious Oasis upon receiving a mysterious text message and becomes a Reflector. From there, she meets Kokoro, Rena, and Yuki, who are Reflectors without their memories. Thus, she leads the Reflectors on a journey to venture out into Heartscapes, worlds formed by a Reflector's memories, in order to uncover the truth behind why the Reflectors were sent to Oasis.

Powers and Stats

Tier: At least 4-A, likely Low 2-C, higher with Resonance | 2-C, higher with Resonance

Key: Early Game | Endgame

Name: Ao Hoshizaki

Origin: Blue Reflection

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown, should be around 15 to 17 years old as she is still in high school

Classification: Reflector

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: At least Multi-Solar System level, likely Universe level+ (A Reflector's Fragment is powerful enough to create and sustain a Heartscape, worlds/pocket dimensions that contain their own Sun and starry skies. Should be somewhat comparable to Yuzu and Lime, whose Heartscape is a recreation of the Common, a dimension of infinite size. Lime alone can sustain Oasis' existence with her power), higher with Resonance (Reflectors become stronger when resonating with each other) | Low Multiverse level (Defeated the World System, who destroyed the universe and the Common by proxy, as the exterior of Oasis shows that the universe has been reduced to nothingness. Said entity was stated by Ao to be attempting to annihilate all of existence, which would include Oasis. Oasis is a separate reality that connects ten Heartscapes, and acts as a safe haven in the middle of nothingness. Should be superior to endgame BR1 Hinako who defeated Daath, the embodiment of the Common. She should also scale above End of Ray Hiori, who fought against Final Form Shino.[1] Final Form Shino had full control over the Common and was merging it and the real world together[2]), higher with Resonance (Easily overpowered the World System after resonating with her fellow Reflectors, who were all previously struggling against it together)

Speed: Unknown | Unknown

Lifting Strength: Unknown | Unknown

Striking Strength: Multi-Solar System level, likely Universe level+, higher with Resonance | Low Multiverse level, higher with Resonance

Durability: At least Multi-Solar System level, likely Universe level+ (Should be comparable to her Attack Potency), higher with Resonance | Low Multiverse level (Can take hits from the World System. Should scale above endgame BR1 Hinako and End of Ray Hiori), higher with Resonance

Stamina: Superhuman (Can fight for extended periods of time before getting exhausted)

Range: Extended Melee Range with scythe, Tens of Meters with magic

Standard Equipment: Her Reflector Ring (required to transform into a Reflector) and her scythe. Her Reflector Ring cannot be forcibly removed by someone else. Ray shows that Reflector Rings can only be removed if the Reflector takes it off themselves.

Intelligence: Average (Is shown to be mostly average in typical school subjects such as mathematics and history. Despite not being the smartest Reflector, Ao has been shown to come up with rather brilliant ideas, such as her idea to reach Origin and recreate the world without the Ash)

Weaknesses: Reflectors cannot transform if they do not have their Reflector Ring equipped, if there is a lack of Ether in their surroundings, or if their emotions are unstable. If the thread between her heart and Fragment is severed, she will fall into a coma and may never wake up. If her Fragment is destroyed, she will die as well.

Feats:

  • Defeated the World System after resonating with her fellow Reflectors. Prior to this, the Reflectors as a whole were shown to be struggling against the World System during the final battle, which includes Reflectors such as Hinako and Hiori.
  • Recreated the universe using Origin (although, this isn't combat applicable as Origin is a separate entity)
  • Broke out of a time loop and was able to live on in the new universe she had created.
