Summary
Anakaris is a protagonist from the Marvel vs. Capcom series. In ancient Egypt, he was a 12th Pharaoh of the empire, but foresaw the destructive forces that threatened his kingdom. The only way in which Anakaris knew he could protect the Egyptian people was for him to attain an ample amount of divine power. To do so, he entombed himself for 5,000 users, eventually being revived in the modern era. Upon his awakening, he travelled back in time, returning to his age with the immense power he had successfully acquired.
At some point, the sky pirate known as Ruby Heart would enlist Anakaris as well as several others from Marvel and Capcom's worlds to aid in the battle against Abyss. Supposedly, he had partnered alongside Doctor Doom during this effort, but the two seemingly had no interest in forming a friendship.

Logically, Anakaris would hold a great wealth of knowledge due to the time he has spent alive, as well as combat experience against the threats he set out to fight against.[1] In battle, he displays a mastery of his bizarre abilities, capable of forming his body into a variety of complex and unique shapes in a quick and unpredictable fashion.[3] These usages include binding his opponent in his wrappings, creating giant cobras to bite at his opponents, forming extra limbs or spawning his already existing ones from the ground, or unwinding his legs to act as springs that propel himself into the air.[3] Anakaris also possesses magical knowledge, granting him access to spells he uses to leave opponents in vulnerable states[3])
