Summary
Princess Amethyst, also known as Amy Winston is the Princess of the late House Amethyst and currently the Princess of the Banned. Raised on Earth, Amethyst was an admirer of superheroes, particularly that of Supergirl. Whether it was because of this or not, but when she turned 13 years old and was revealed her role as the princess of an entire nation, Winston took to her role heroically and did everything in her power to protect not only her people, but all of Gemworld, which resulted in her visiting Earth less and less. Though it was in one of these Earth visits that Amethyst stumbled upon a group of young heroes and inadvertently formed the heroic team Young Justice, later founding the Young Justice League.

Intelligence: Gifted (Despite being out of her element, Amethyst can deliver truly rousing speeches, though they often fall on deaf ears. She's been shown to be a very competent fighter and general, apparently winning several wars in the past due in no small part of her skill)
