~ America to Doctor Strange |
Summary
America Chavez is a extra-dimensional being from the Utopian Parallel with the ability to travel the Multiverse using large, star-shaped portals. After manifesting her abilities, she became knowledgeable of different universes which she visited, also learning in the process that no alternate selves of her existed within the Multiverse. Chavez was later targeted by Scarlet Witch, who sought to acquire her powers, leading to her being relentlessly hunted down by inter-dimensional creatures and monsters. Believing she could defeat her enemies with the Book of Vishanti, she took up the help of Doctor Strange, until he betrayed her. Using a portal, she escaped to another universe, where she was rescued by another Doctor Strange. Chavez and Strange continued to elude Scarlet Witch through different universes and searched for the book, however, they were arrested by the Illuminati in the process; their quest fell futile when Scarlet Witch destroyed the book and abducted Chavez. Strange was able to rescue Chavez before the Scarlet Witch was able to absorb her powers. In the aftermath, Chavez joined the ranks of the Masters of the Mystic Arts.
