Summary
Amaterasu is a protagonist in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. One-hundred years ago, Amaterasu sealed away the eight-headed demon dragon, Orochi, but she ended up losing her body due to injuries sustained in the fierce battle. Her spirit was contained within a statue, and she was later resurrected when darkness rose again, although without her Celestial Brush powers. She thus began a journey to restore beauty to Nippon, while also regaining her powers.
In the midst of her journey, Amaterasu would join many heroes and villains from the worlds of Marvel and Capcom to battle against the World Eater, Galactus.
