Summary
Trevor Belmont is a warrior of the Brotherhood of Light, and one of the main characters in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate. Due to a prophecy of his father being the Prince of Darkness, the Brotherhood took him away as a baby in secret from Gabriel to train him to become the warrior to slay Dracula as it's said only a blood of the Belmont can stop Dracula. He learns the truth about Dracula the day before he goes on his journey, and tries to avenge his mother for what he did, only to die in the end. After Dracula learns of Trevor's true heritage, he gives him his own blood to bring him back, and renames him to Alucard due to never knowing his real name. Alucard comes back after several decades and aids his son Simon to stop his father.
Several centuries has passed, and Dracula still reigns supreme in the world with none of the Brotherhood being capable of stopping him, and Alucard confronts his father with a plan to draw out Satan and Death so he can finally end the remaining evil upon the world, to which Dracula agrees, letting his son put him into a weakened state for a long time until the perfect opportunity where he'll come back and destroy both Death and Satan once for all.
