Summary

Alligator Loki is the pseudonym assigned to a counterpart of Earth-616 Loki, accidentally displaced from his universe during a fight between the latter and Thor. The God of Thunder took him in as his pet, regardless of the protests of the Alligator himself. After an initial quarrel with his "human" version, the two realized they have much in common and became partners in crime. Alligator Loki eventually settled down in the new universe, living in the rivers of Asgard or in Thor and Loki's apartment in Midgard.

Alligator Loki is just as mischievous and greedy as his counterpart, although all of his misdeeds are directed towards silly goals, often involving food, for his gluttony is boundless. True to his fame of trickster, Loki often swings between being a jollyful companion to the heroes, towards whom he has often showed great affection, to pulling them any sort of prank for his personal amusement.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 9-B

Name: Alligator Loki (pseudonym)

Origin: Marvel Comics

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Classification: Alligator, Alternate version of Loki

Powers and Abilities:

  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics
  • Small Size (Type 1; Alligator Loki is the size of a small animals and approximately relative to Jeff the Land Shark,[1][2] although he slightly varies according to various depictions)
  • Bodily Weaponry (Sharp teeth and claws. Occasionally utilizes his tail to bash other people and destroy things.[3][4][5] The horns on his headgear can be utilized as improvised weapons[4])
  • Longevity (Took a bite out of[5] one of the Golden Apples of Idunn, which restore asgardians to their prime, extending their life and preserving their youth. Despite the gods requiring periodic consumption of the fruit to remain immortal, even a single one should have extended Alligator Loki's lifespan)
  • Acrobatics (Pulled himself backwards upon being caught in-mid air by Thor.[6] Caught grip of Mjolnir by leaping vertically out of water.[7] Caught Throg in mid-air, although it took him two tries.[8] Can perform jumping uppercuts.[9] Skillful in the usage of ropes, having used one to commit theft, save a friend and dodge Throg's Frogjolnir[10][11])
  • Minor Martial Arts (Received basic martial arts teachings from Iron Fist, Lin Lie and Pei.[9] Was able to perform various techniques during a playful frenzy, unaware one of all the collateral damage he was causing[9])
  • Stealth Mastery (Planned and carried out [together with a bunch of accomplices] a heist to steal cookies from the highly-secured Avengers Mansion. The plan almost failed and resulted in the capture of Jeff the Land Shark, but only because of sheer unluck. Alligator Loki and his associates then successfully rescued Jeff from detention and escaped unpunished[10][11])
  • Fire Manipulation (His matches produce impossibly large and destructive quantities of flames which burned the entirety of K'un-Lun to ashes in a small amount of time[9])
  • Magic (Basic. While apparently lacking in supernatural skills, Alligator Loki began to display mystical abilities resembling those of his counterpart after a certain period of proximity to him, possibly as a result of education received from him. Sawed Throg in half for a magic performance[12])
  • Toon Force (The comedic tone bore by his stories lets him accomplish feats that would otherwise be impossible, going as far as affecting the environment and the people around him. Could swallow Throg's Frogjolnir and suffer only from the impossibility of moving his own body, due to being unworthy of lifting the magic mallet.[8] Shanna O'Hara somehow stuffed Throg down Alligator Loki's throat to let him reach Frogjolnir down into the stomach.[14] Can cry whole streams of tears[15])

Attack Potency: Wall level (Hurt Jeff the Land Shark a couple times.[29] Launched himself with enough force to impale a tree with his horns.[4] Chomped a metal cage[1])

Speed: Peak Human to Superhuman Travel Speed (Raced against many other "Marvel" animals, faring better than Lockjaw and keeping up with Throg who, at least initially, was consistently at the top of the contestants line[30] Iron Fist, Lin Lie and Pei could not catch him[9]) with Subsonic Reactions and Perceptions (Intercept Mjolnir flying in mid-air and caught its handle with great precision.[7] Briefly evaded the combined assault of Jeff the Land Shark, Lockjaw and Trjegul, but was overwhelmed soon after.[29] Dodged a snowball arrow from Hawkeye, which may have travelled at such speed.[31] Intercepted a volleyball thrown by Black Widow.[13] Caught Throg in mid-air and then intercepted Frogjolnir being launched at him[8])

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (Firmly held on Mjolnir while it was speeding at breakneck speed across the world, causing collateral damage in the process.[7] Shoved and flipped Loki a few times.[4][5] Throg needed outside help to be free from his jaws.[17] Carried two turtles, a gecko and a large snake[1])

Striking Strength: Wall level

Durability: Wall level (Able to withstand the recoil of his own attacks. Willingly jumped off Thor's tower and landed seemingly unhurt.[3] Scuffled with Jeff the Land Shark and other super animals a couple of times[29][2])

Stamina: At least Athletic (Seemingly in line with other animals and strange creatures of his universe. Often engages in brawls and scuffles with a variety of superhuman characters. Endured several blows to the head from Throg's Frogjolnir.[17] Withstood electrocution from Thor[13] and Throg's lightnings.[8] Raced for seemingly a good amount of time against other special animals, running until he fell asleep from exhaustion[30])

Range: Below Standard Melee Range, Higher with Magic and Fire Manipulation

Standard Equipment: Horned Helmet and two bundles of matches.

Intelligence: At least Average

This version of Loki is extremely smart from a common alligator's standpoint, and is fully human in intellect and reasoning capability. Nonetheless, his fundamental animalistic nature and his boundless gluttony often take the advantage of him depending on his mood swings.[32][33][34] Furthermore, he appears to be quite childlike in several aspects.[5][28][35] He is a somewhat capable deceiver and several of his adventures involve conjuring various trickeries, occasionally alongside his counterpart.

Alligator Loki has a number of various skills which he puts at use for his different exploits, often surprising the indivisualds he iinteracts with. Upon hearing of Mjolnir's arrival, Alligator Loki instantly calculated its tajectory and leaped with the precise timing he needed to catch the hammer's handle.[7] Has rudimentary knowledge of english writing.[31][10] Had some innate brawling skill[29] and improved upon visitin K'un-Lun.[9] Appears to have learned magic from regular Loki and his able to cast some spells. Managed to somehow link asgardian machines to a very earthen inflatable chair.[2]

Weaknesses: Quite susceptile to cold environments.[25][31]
