~ Alex Kidd |
Summary
Alex Kidd is the main protagonist of the eponymous video game series created by SEGA in 1986. He is an orphan who was kidnapped as a young boy by an evil man and lives along on Mount Eternal, where he has spent seven years to master the ancient Shellcore martial art under Master Nurari's guidance, having retrieved the lost constellations back to the sky after they were stolen by Ziggurat with Stella's help. After the disappearance of King Thunder, the kingdom of Radaxian is thrown into disarray as a usurper, Janken the Great, kidnapped Alex's brother Prince Egle and his fiancee Princess Lora, even turning the citizens into stone statues through magic.
After clashing with Gooseka the Slippery, one of Janken's minions, Alex learned the truth about his past as a member of the Radaxian Royal Family and sets out to rescue his brother, restore the kingdom and destroy the monstrous minions of Janken. Following this, Alex discovered his father's whereabouts and left to the Planet Paper-Rock, where he confronted Janken the Great's son, Ashra, who was serving King Thunder during his vacation here.
