Agents (The Matrix)

Summary

Morpheus describes Agents as "everyone and no one." They are somewhat omnipresent within the Matrix, and can take control over any human still connected to the system (a Bluepill). Their capabilities exceed even the Redpills, in terms of combat prowess. They can for instance, dodge entire clips of bullets with no trouble. They do however, have their limitations in the system, such as being incapable of flight.

Agents are also tasked with deleting obsolete programs, as revealed with the Keymaker in Reloaded.

By the time of The Matrix Revolutions, Smith had made everyone connected to the Matrix a copy of himself, so Agents seemed to have disappeared.

Powers and Stats

Name: Varies.

Origin: The Matrix

Age: They appear around early to mid 40's. Though as programs of the Matrix, this is inapplicable.

Powers and Abilities:Superhuman Physical Characteristics,Martial Arts

Attack Potency: Wall level+ (they can easily destroy thick walls with their punches)

Speed: Supersonic as they can dodge entire clips full of bullets with ease.

Striking Strength: Greatly exceed ordinary humans. They can punch through concrete, for example.

Durability: Room level (They can take hard hits from characters like Neo and still come back for more. However, they mostly rely on their speed, as their essence still occupies a human body and can thus be put down if hit severely enough. This was shown when Trinity shot one in the head in the first film, which killed the human he occupied and thus forced him to leave the fight)

Stamina: High. They can engage in intense fights and not look exhausted.

Intelligence: Very intelligent. As the caretakers of the Matrix, Agents are deeply in-tune with the happenings inside the system.

Standard Equipment: All Agents carry a .50 Desert Eagle. [[1]]
