| ~ 8-Ball |
Summary
8-Ball is a contestant from the Battle for Dream Island series, debuting as a contestant during the fourth season, Battle for BFDI. He is a black billiard ball that almost always talks in a monotone voice. The most important fact about 8-Ball is that he does NOT have a favorite number.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 2-C, potentially higher via Budget Cuts
Name: 8-Ball
Origin: Battle for Dream Island
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Billiard 8-ball
Powers and Abilities:
- Object Physiology (Regular)
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 1; Is a living 8-ball)
- Large Size (Type 0; 3.76981208431 meters)
- Social Influencing (Was able to overthrow Golf Ball during her absence as the team leader of A Better Name Than That)
- Minor limited Mind Manipulation (When 8-Ball was crushed into fumes and was sniffed by Saw, she got obsessive compulsions with the number eight)
8-Ball, being a BFDI host, has the potential to perform the following abilities like the Announcer has because of control over the budget of the show, although he never demonstrated this himself:
- Reality Warping, Existence Erasure, and Summoning (Budget Cut users can buy anything they can afford[1], and downgrade the quality of the show until it disappears,[2] which is consistent with Purple Face's statement that everyone was going to be turned off forever[3])
- Plot Manipulation and BFR (Budget Cuts erased Black Hole from an episode with a thought causing him to not appear for the rest of the episode[4])
- Power Nullification (Budget Cuts made the Box of Paper Slips unusable[5])
Attack Potency: Low Multiverse level (Comparable to other contestants capable of harming Two. Was one of the many characters capable of one-shotting Four's Jawbreakers[6], which were durable enough for Gelatin to end up killing himself from bashing his head too many times onto a Jawbreaker with no success[7][Statistics Value 1]), potentially higher via Budget Cuts (Although 8-Ball has never demonstrated budget cuts like the Announcer has, they should have the potential to, being a BFDI host, similar to how Four and X have the potential to[8])
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Comparable to Donut, who can react to a Gamma Ray Burst that travelled 600 million light years in less than a second,[9] as well as Tree, who can react with a thumbs up shortly after letting go of his rocket and shortly before falling into Black Hole[10] while moving at these speeds[Statistics Value 2])
Lifting Strength: Multi-Stellar (Comparable to members of the Have Cots who are capable of moving an enlarged sun which weighs this much.[11] Comparable to TV, who can push Black Hole with this much force[12][Statistics Value 3]), possibly Multi-Galactic (Comparable to Blocky, Flower, Loser, Taco, and Woody, who were able to rotate the Earth with their combined strength with this much force,[13] assuming the underworld, an alternate universe,[14] is present inside of the Earth's core[Statistics Value 4])
Striking Strength: Low Multiverse level
Durability: Low Multiverse level (Comparable to his Attack Potency and can survive attacks from characters comparable to him[Statistics Value 5])
Stamina: Superhuman (Objects are consistently able[15] to traverse long distances[16] or do a constant action[17] without any signs of tiring out,[18] with some of these instances lasting days, such as when the only surviving BFDIA contestants had to crank the Hand-Powered Hand-Powered Recovery Center Creator for 78 days straight in order to revive their dead team members.[19] The longest they have been able to go[20] without tiring is 4 years,[21] when the EXITors were trying desperately to find a way of the EXIT for the past 4 years without stopping)
Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Interplanetary with Elasticity (Comparable to the likes of Coiny, who is able to extend his arm this long,[22] Pin, who presumably grabbed Callisto from space off-screen,[23] and Tennis Ball, who extended his legs into space this long to reach Puffball[24][Statistics Value 6]), potentially Low Multiversal via Budget Cuts
Standard Equipment: None notable
Intelligence: At most Average (8-Ball has never counted to nine, and was completely ignorant of the fact that he was being a hindrance to his team during multiple episodes of BFB because no one was realizing his sarcasm due to almost always speaking in a monotone voice. However, 8-Ball is capable of basic strategizing and multiplication.
Weaknesses: 8-Ball can be very ignorant.
Note: When including his immortality in a VS match, you must specify which season he’s currently competing in since every season has a different method of recovery and not all contestants appeared in every season. If he’s not competing in any competitions, you can restrict this ability.
